Great Bitless Attachment
I love that this just goes on a regular bridle. I bought a plain flat curb strap to use with it. I saw someone else with one, and I had to ask what it was and get one for myself! The black looks very understated with a normal bridle, which was part of the original appeal. The blue color is definitely more blue than the teal color shown in the product photo, but it was a review saying that which made me choose the blue over the black, and I love it! It matches the blue browbands I have. This is a fairly sharp piece of equipment as far as bitless goes, but I like that it still allows for a good amount of control while freeing up the mouth to eat and drink, as I plan to use it on trails and longer distance rides.

Good choice for bitless riding.
I have a mare I'd like to keep bitless. Trying different things and this seems to work the best. The knots do have a bit of bite to them. But I have a most stubborn Mare.

Loooooove this!!!
I absolutely LOVE this option! I now have 3!I ordered one after researching sidepull bridles as an alternative to a bit or hackamore. The bridles were A. Too small for my draft crosses, B. Well over $100 a piece, C. Not in colors I like. Additionally I really like my bridle and didn't want to have to switch to a different one just to get the results I wanted.I came across this by accident and bought it thinking it probably would not work, but what the heck... it was cheap. BUT I love It!My hot toed Andalusian cross (who had to be ridden with shanks and a tie down) stops on a dime, sound beautiful circles... I barely twitch the reins and she stops and backs like a dream! That said, I have had amazing results with three of my four horses... one of them does not do well with it. He does better with an o-ring snaffle. If your horse responds well in a rope halter, this is a very easy transition. If your horse has no brakes... might not be the best choice ;)

Works Like A Dream
This is an amazing little piece of tack. I’ve always wanted to try bitless riding with my horse and this is definitely the way to go. It works with any headstall and your horse will love it! My horse is 100% more responsive with this noseband than with a bit and is much more comfortable and relaxed. I’ve never seen her enjoy the ride as much as she does after I’ve started using this noseband. I truly feel like I’m riding a different horse. If you’ve ever thought about going bitless, TRY IT. It’s so nice to get that harsh and heavy piece of metal out of your horse’s mouth. I highly recommend this noseband and will never ride with a bit again!

Looks Great
The only thing I would say is make sure you have a curb strap laying around.

bitless bridle without investing in the whole rig
I bought this item to rig up a bitless bridle/hackamore before investing $$$ in a bridle. This has worked well on my TB. You can adjust it up or down with the headstall you already have, especially easy with racing tack. You will need to rig up a chin strap

My gelding likes it
I wish it came with instructions but once I saw some pictures here I was ok. My gelding did well with it on our first try. I can now open my reins more to ask for flexion (He was on a mechanichal hackmore before). I do need to be a little more forceful since he is used to shanks but he will adjust well I think :) I like the cream and black pattern. It could be a tad smaller; it's barely a bit too big (15.2 hands quarter horse). I tried it with a couple head pieces and found one that worked well with it.

Good product but color is misrepresented in product photo
I just received my noseband in the mail and I'm so excited to try it! I wanted to give people a heads up and also inform the seller that the shade of blue pictured for the blue/black noseband is not accurate. The photo on Amazon shows a turquoise coloring, which is what I expected. The product is not turquoise at all, it's a deep blue similar to the outside colour on this emoticon --> 🧿. It's still a sharp looking color combo, but I was a little disappointed.

Absolutely perfect!
I bought this for my gelding who is sensitive to bits and prefers a side pull. I was concerned about quality as I wasn’t able to see it in person but when it showed up I was very pleased! Very sturdy and well made. I would definitely buy another one.
