ok so first, had one of the now almost $300 dollar other brand that got destroyed in a pop up thunderstorm so we needed to replace it. NO WAY i was paying that and i saw these, some good reviews, some bad. so ill be honest. You wont put it up by yourself, you will need at least one other person, i mean come on its a parachute on a windy beach? of course you cant do it by yourself, but it took two people to put one of those up as well. Second, see people saying the instructions are bad, i mean it comes with a grey tent pole and a black one, the tent itself is color coded as to what pole goes where. so i mean.... you can figure it out with very minimal effort.. lol. honestly if you ever had put up a tent you can do it trust me. as for the rest there are a few strings and some sand bags. its pretty much self explanatory. all in all first time took us roughly 10 minutes to put it together literally opening the box at the beach. 1 thing i will say, save yourself some issues and grab the screw in tent stake, you can get a six pack on amazon for 9 bucks and that is exactly you need. the sand bags and given tent stakes are ok but if you ever been to a beach you know its very windy so you will have to keep adjusting all day without the stakes. cant really say how long it will last as we have only used it about 5 times since we got it but now the longest part of set up is sliding the poles in as we have everything pre set to just lock it down. also saw people say its low and doesn't provide shade but saw no one include a pic of that. im 6" 2' and dont really have to duck and can stand inside without hitting my head. also you can see the shade it provides. me two beach chairs and a wagon and there is still room for a few more people with ease. all in all unless the thing disintegrates next time we put it up, and its made of tent material so it shouldn't until the sun does what it does to everything its a great alternative to the much more expensive one.. you can get three of these for one of those. we are happy with the purchase.

I bought this to take on vacation to EI NC. Didn’t last 5 hours before it snapped. Do not purchase this! What a waste of $80

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my favorite gardening partner, my dog big Bertha. She loved being outside, but the heat is really hard on her because of her age. I tried an insulated dog house, but it's not the least bit portable. With this, I can drag it along with me as we go. Now she can stay cool and relax while I work on the plants. Much to my surprise, it is a lot cooler than my overpriced dog house. It can be set up in minutes and it's a lot more stable than I expected. You can leave it in one spot with the hammer in stakes, but I like using the sandbags so I can move it to different locations in the yard. When it's not being used I can fold it up and tuck it away in the shed. I really appreciate that it doesn't have a "floor". Bertha loves playing with the grass and this doesn't cover it up.

Opened it; put it together at home before I took it to tge beach; was so cumbersome to put together, I packed it back up and returned it

Very easy to put up and the colors are cool too! Love it!

We put the shade up and it would not stand in the wind.

We just find it difficult to put together unless you have multiple people to help and the wind is so strong in HHI it was complicated to do.

Easy to set up. Good shade and no problem in the wind.
