Monkey Pod Games Enigma Collection: A Premium Metal Brain Teasers Gift Set- Set II (1-1-3)

This was "The Hit" on Christmas morning. After all the presents were opened, my daughter got on of these out and sat for about 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Meanwhile, the other 4 members of my family sat and watched and then asked to try one. About an hour later, we were all passing them around the room trying figure them out! Some of us mastered some and some have still gone unmastered. Super entertaining and great for just leaving on coffee table or anywhere where the family and friends gather and I guru tee you that this is one gift that won't end up in the Good Will box next year!Came in a very nice wooden box and the pieces Are all medal and are not cheaply made! Very durable! I would recommend!

Put this on the coffee table and anyone who comes over starts playing with it. Nice to have 4 choices. They vary in difficulty. I got the heart puzzle in just a few minutes, but the "devil" puzzle was so difficult I wondered if it wasn't some prank where they bent the metal closed. But after a VERY long time (after several days) I FINALLY got it. Metal pieces are chrome and are pretty durable, but I was being too rough on the devil puzzle and it now has some scratches in it. Wooden box is good quality with felt on the bottom. Glad we got it. Bought a few other Hanayama puzzles to put in there to add to the collection.

Looks great. Good quality. I put it on my desk for passer bye's, now they won't leave!!!!

Great puzzles. The company doesn't provide good instructions to solve them but there is plenty of information on the Internet.Even when I figured out how to solve them I'm still not sure why they work (if that makes sense).The materials are substantial (e.g. heavy) and can't be broken by normal people trying to twist the pry their way to a solution.

I read that the puzzles came in a box, but I received an attractive tray, with four compartments. I had to re-glue the tray together and all is well.

Good quality puzzles and case that you would expect from Monkey Pod Games. The difficulty of the puzzles, from my perspective, are great for beginners. As an adult that likes these puzzles, I had no problems solving all 4 of them. Each one took on sitting to figure out. My 9 yr old, has solved 2 out of 4 of them, but has not spent much time on them.

Like the variety of these 4 puzzles. Was seeking replacement for similar set i had that puzzles could be forced apart (not the tiny ones, a larger strong set). the variety of solutions and difficult levels are great. Over time 2 of the puzzles can be forced apart, and they are two favorites. The horseshoe puzzle looks FAR too much like handcuffs. Some design corrections on that would be great, it is a kid favorite. The box is nice, use it all the time with these and other puzzles for easy access and display as well as easy way to check for all pieces being present when ending an activity. (Love that it doesn't come with the solutions but has links to look them up online. Solutions aren't easy to follow, which I also love!) Still use them, I just listen for the pop sound of a forced puzzle (it does stretch them out increasing the problem over time.)

These puzzles are a lot a fun and challenging for all ages. Kids are amazed when the links first come apart as it initially appears, of course, to be impossible. To make these puzzles challenging, the tolerances need to be close and these are. They are well-constructed of heavy chrome metal and cannot be bent easily by hand so there is little chance of forcing the sections apart. Also, these can be quite addictive!
