Boost Up Wireless Charging Stand 10W Pad F7U082ttWHT

My husband and I both have these on our nightstands. We were sick of cords and wanted something we could easily place and pick up our phones as needed. It is quick charging and looks nice on our nightstands. I’ve always loved the Belkin brand and this is the only way I charge my phone!

This charger is very compact and light. It is a good charger but the only complaint I have you cannot charge the phone with a flip style case on it. I bought it for my husband for xmas and he has charged the phone without the case. It is pointless to have a charger that you cannot charge the phone in the case. As he is not going to keep taken the cover off to charge the phone. So would love to hear suggestions on how to get pass this issue

This makes charging my iPhone very easy but: pay attention when you lay your phone on the charger. You need to make sure that the green light on the pad comes on AND that your phone acknowledges that it is charging. It's quite easy to misalign it and a couple of times I've awakened in the morning to find that (bumped by a cat in the night? Careless human placement?) the phone has not charged. Annoying.

Did you know there are 2 versions of this product?While both are sold as the Belkin BOOST UP Wireless Charging Pad, there is an older model F7U052, and a newer model F7U083. The F7U052 Comes with a wall charger that has a permanently attached cable that plugs into the product using a barrel connector. The F7U083 comes with a USB to Micro USB-C cable and a wall charger with a USB outlet and Qualcomm QC3.0 charging. Both units look very similar, but the older F7U052 has a nicer rubber face and pads, along with more robust construction. The F7U083 has a textured plastic surface and smaller rubber pads that could be prone to come off over time. The LED on the newer unit is much less useful than the two on the previous product. It is located on the top RIM of the unit where you usually cannot see it, and is covered up when the phone is charged in the portrait position. The earlier F7U052 placed TWO LEDs on the FACE of the unit, where one or the other is easily visible in either portrait or landscape charging positions.This creates quite a conundrum for the new buyer! Do you prefer the latest industry standard charger and cable, or more robust construction and better design. The choice is up to you... until the F7U052 is no longer available.Good day!!
