I don't usually write reviews, but 10 mins after taking this out of the box, I decided to share my positive experience. I bought this as a book stand (to read in bed) It is perfect. So easy to assemble. I am able to easily adjust the height and angle. the base makes it super comfortable to place between your legs so the top remains stable. I also like that the little clips to hold the pages aren't that high, so they don't cover the print. I also put my 15 inch MB pro on the stand. I am now siting in bed with the stand typing on my Mb pro. The angle is perfect. I now don't have to look down and strain my neck while typing (or get those nasty neck wrinkles) I also like that the reinforcements in the front can be adjusted for typing. There are two heights that you can use to prevent your laptop from falling foward. The lower height does not interfere at all with your forearm comfort while typing. This is a 10/10 for me! If you are looking for the perfect stand to use while sitting on the couch or in bed, this is it.

Good to me

It’s hard to collapse down and pack to go. It mainly useful for use at home.

As I get older I find it problematic to hold a book on my lap, as looking down to read for long periods hurts my neck. This solves the issue. I've used it for paperbacks and hardback books, both work well. I can adjust the height to whatever works best and also adjust the angle of the book, so it's even with my eyes. I expect to get alot of use out of this and am very happy with the purchase.

This is a great little desk while on the couch or sitting on the floor, the only think that I was not a fan of was the bump of the base, reason 4 star not 5. Other than that the device is helpful and have noticed my posture getting better

I have enjoyed this desk but over time the plastic where the top attaches to the upright portion fatigued and yesterday the top snapped off. Was sad. I have used this desk and found it useful. So much so, I will try to find a glue to put the top back on but that spot needs to be redone so it holds up more than a couple months.

Its doesn't hold the Ipad

I got this to use as a lap desk on my couch and as a standing desk on top of my regular height desk. The material isn’t as thick or sturdy as I would like; it looked a lot sturdier in the pictures. It works great as a standing desk & holds my laptop well on a perfectly flat surface. But when I try to use it as a lap desk, my couch isn’t completely flat, and the rod keeps popping out of the base so it tips over. I have to position it between my legs and kind of grip it with my thighs in order to stop it from falling over and launching my laptop onto the floor. So that’s not ideal

Easy to assemble. It keeps my iPad or book right at eye level which is what I wanted. It swivels easily to adjust to degree I need. I recommend it highly.

Item is of good quality. All parts working well. Kids used it often for reading and using Ipad. No more straining.

Use it everyday when working in my recliner. Can change angle easily for comfort.
