Dead on match for cherry Les Paul necks
Was curious to see if I'd have to tint this on my '21 Gibson Les Paul Standard (Bourbon Burst with cherry neck/body back). I had a small chip in the nitro on the top of the headstock. This color is dead on. A bit of gloss nitro on top and some wet sanding and polishing and it will be as good as new.

Great for touchups and even bigger repairs
I'm not a luthier by any means, but I had a student break their Epiphone LP at the headstock and they asked if I could fix it.Using these paint markers I was able to get a fairly professional looking result. The color was a perfect match and has held up for about 8 months now, even on a spot that gets touched constantly.

Works perfect!!
Had a small ding on the neck of my Gibson les Paul standard I applied 3 very thin light coats and sealed it with a very thin layer of thin gluboost a little wet sanding and the repair is virtually invisible matches perfect with Gibson heritage cherry you can’t go wrong with StewMac products!!!

Not good for anything but tiny chips on flat surfaces
Tried to touch up some chipped finish on the back of the neck and this was useless, only made it look worse. Waste of time and money.

Covered chip
Filled in a chip on my snap-on box. Color very close. Took 3 applications to level to the existing surface but I'm happy

matched PRS S2 "Vintage Cherry" color
I used this to touch up some spots on my PRS S2 in satin vintage cherry which has a satin nitro finish. The finish maches well in color but is a tad glossier, however if you rub it a bit it blends in well enough to cover small nicks, especially if you look from more than a few feet away. If i were more motivated I could rub it with some steel wool to dull it even more, but as is its fine for me.

Not opaque coverage
Does what it needs to do; just needs multiple coats. Hard for a fill in spot for a chip.
