I lovingly gave (Knit-pal Wool Wonders /4 gauge,Medium) 5 stars! This yarn is gorgeous and soft on my hands!I’m on my 5th Afghan (tulip) with this yarn and while it does come with a few tied knots, uneven areas, it is a wonderful blend of 30% Australian Wool and 70% Acrylic Yarn but single ply.I have used alpaca in the past on projects and it’s more expensive and has similar problems.I will purchase again!!My projects call for 5 packs of 4. That’s 20 skeins ofYarn put into my much loved family gifted blankets.Happy crocheting!!Jeanne

I was looking for a 100% wool yarn that was a little “bulkier” so I was a little worried that I would not like this blend (even though its price is so nice). No worries! It is soft and works very well. The final product has a nice luster without it looking like synthetic yarn. See picture! It also keeps you comfortable as one would expect with wool. Other reviewers noted end knots in the skeins but that happens with natural fiber yarn sometimes and in 12 skeins, I had it twice. I really don’t think this yarn has more issues than normal compared to other yarns I have worked with in my 50 years of yarn art.

The thickness of the yarn varies and isn't even, with random knots tied into the yarn to connect pieces. It is soft though and the coloring is very pretty.

That is the only thing that comes to mind… buttery. The texture of this yarn, along with the color and appearance make a beautiful project. The ease of crocheting with this yarn makes you want to purchase all of the colors and just make everyone something. I’ve never crocheted anything with yarn like this. The performance and durability is unexpected. I love this yarn!

I am disappointed in this yarn because every roll has a stop point and pieced together as it’s not a full seemless rollI’m encountering knots all on the backside of my blanket.I do like the feel of the yarn, it’s nice and soft, it’s the reason I kept going with it plus the colors are perfect for my blanketIt’s very pricey to have this happen so with that being said it will stop me from purchasing more from this company

This yarn has a tendency to twist as your using it, at first I didn't like it then suddenly I realized it was making my pattern look beautiful. The way it twist into the pattern crinkles it a little and it is so pretty. I am doing the Alpine Stitch and it looks beautiful

I will start with the one positive thing I have to say. The colors are pretty.Now on to the bad. There were three things I found wrong with this yarn.1. The weight is completely UNEVEN! As you can see in the photo, it ranges from the small end of a #5 all the way down the about a #2, which is horrible for my stitches.2. There were tons of tufts of un-dyed, white fuzz stuck to the yarn in various places throughout the skein. These were hard to remove, as they stuck out from the center of the yarn.3. This yarn is absolutely impossible to frog. If you make a mistake, it’s far easier to just snip it and throw the thing away as the knotting in previous stitches (even loose ones!) is beyond frustrating and certainly not what I’d expect at this price point.

I crocheted a beautiful sweater just in time for the snow storm! this yarn is quite thick and super cozy. keep in mind the yarn can get a bit heavy when worked into a big piece! but it is perfect for cardigans and other cozy items.

great color, soft, and durable. a pleasure to crochet. will buy again

This yarn has alot of flawsBroken pieces as well as fuzzy areas on the yarnI also found that the yarn was extra thin in some areas

I bought this to make a small project and when it arrived I really liked the colours and the way they blended so i ended up buying more so that i could crochet a blanket

Love the colors. Nothing negative. Will be purchasing again next week

I love the ball it does split occasionally, it’s very airy
