This light is the best and most helpful light I have ever recieved. I can stay up late reading to my hearts content, and this light will stay up with me, never dying. I'm serious, the light has never died once for me in my months of having it, even after not being charged for days on end. Recently, due to my carelessness, my charger had broken at the tip, causing the head to break off (the wire had worn down from being tossed around, stepped on, etc. - definitely things that shouldn't have happened but because I wasn't being as careful as I should have been, they did.) I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and politely, sending me a whole new charger and light for free. They were extremely helpful, and I recieved another charger in around three days. I would highly reccomend this extremely durable light, as it not only lasts long but the light spreads across pages well, and it doesn't damage paperbacks if clipped on due to how lightweight it is. Great for my eyes to adjust to the nice light and lets me sleep easily when I decide to in comparison to a blinding white light. Would highly recommend - don't waste a minute, if you're looking for an outstanding reading light, this is the one you should purchase!

This is the best book lamp that I own! It’s great quality, has several light settings that you can control the intensity of, has a great battery life, and has a universal lamp head. I have the amber version of this lamp and it’s perfect to use when reading at night time. It easily clips onto the pages of my book and doesn’t get in my way when reading or turning a page. The lamp head is also adjustable and you can either use the lamp vertically or horizontally by fanning it open. The colors are super accurate and can be changed to dull or vibrant, depending on your preference. I loved it so much that I gifted this to my sister who is also a fellow reader

I am very pleased with this reading light. It came in working order. I like that it is rechargeable and clips easily to the book. The lighting itself is exactly what I was looking for with regards to how dim it can get and the amber color. It also gets plenty bright for those who have that preference. The 180 degree adjustability feature is something that I had not realized I would come to appreciate so much. This reading light is a very well thought out design.

Nice light. As bright as you'd like. So light weight. Only trouble for us was that the charging indicator never changed from red to green. Had to return it.

I use this reading light every single day and I love it! The amber light and adjustable brightness is perfect for reading at night without keeping myself awake for hours. I use this light for at least an hour or two every night (on medium-low brightness) and it lasts several weeks without needing to be charged again. I love the clip as it clips to a basket on my bedside table and my books equally well (though it is a bit heavy for some smaller paperbacks).

I love this book light! It lasts for several months before it needs to be charged! Great lighting options but I really love the soft yellow lighting as it doesn’t disturb my husband when he’s sleeping and the mellow lighting helps me to ease into sleep as opposed to bright white lights. Great value for money! Doesn’t get hot. It’s a book lovers bestie! I can’t be without out it.

5 levels of brightness, 3 types of light, extremely lightweight, the clip on feature is very sturdy and doesn’t slide around, flex’s and stays exactly where I position the light, having a usb port to recharge is so easy, the light has never flickered when using… not a negative thing to say. Best book light!

I've tried a lot of book lights, both battery and A/C powered, modified flashlights, etc. and this is the best so far because it nails two important features: 1) It spreads the light over a relatively wide area 2) It is dimmable to a relatively low level Most reading lights, such as the popular "around the neck" kind and the common "small light on a gooseneck" kind (with the light source oriented perpendicular to the book pages) focus their light into a relatively small area. This creates a "hot spot" on the page with a lot of glare, surrounded by dimmer areas on the page extending out to the edge of the book. This uneven lighting is aggravating and produces eye fatigue, especially when reading against the backdrop of a dark room like one does while lying in bed at night. The glare issue is made worse by lights that are too bright and that cannot be adequately dimmed; I've tried using scotch tape or wax paper or a finger cot as a dimmer/diffuser with limited success. This Vekkia light has a wide light source oriented parallel to the page of the open book, thus the light is dispersed relatively evenly across the pages. Additionally, it can be dimmed to a lower level than other lights I have used. These features make for a more comfortable and enjoyable reading experience against the backdrop of a dark room. Selecting the amber color light option also enhances the experience. Another very useful feature is the base, which is large enough for the light to stand on. Clip on reading lights do not work well with magazines and some paperbacks, and the broad base allows this light to stand on my chest and illuminate the reading material when I am lying down. Drawbacks? Well, the plastic has kind of a cheap feel as though the light may not survive a fall to the floor, or that the buttons may not hold up to a lot of on-off cycles, and the battery is not replaceable so when it dies it will be time for a whole new light -- but every other dedicated book light I have tried suffers from the same issues. I also would prefer that once the desired light level is selected it would stay there when turning the light off and on; instead, one has to cycle through the levels to the desired setting every time the light is turned on. But all things considered, this little light is a winner!

there was a white light that kept randomly turning on and off for some reason and there is no real way to turn it off. this is quite annoying when it happen in the middle of the night. the build quality feels cheap and does not match what was advertised. heavier than it should be. these devices should be lightweight so when attached to a book won't tire your hands while in bed.

Needed a good bright clip on light to sing our Christmas concert which is held in a little used church that has no light or heat. Will be very useful to clip on to our music folder - just got to sort out something to keep warm!

A great little light, it is very helpful to be able to bend where you need it. It is helping me get back to reading.
