They charge well, and the batteries are not disconnecting or finding it too snug to move them in and out. They work just as well if not a little bit better than the batteries I first got with this camera. Very pleased with them and it was easy enough to understand. I will return and update if I encounter any problems regarding longevity but seems to be a fairly good product.

It not only can be powered via micro-USB but also has a short integrated usb cable (useful in case you don't have/forgot a separate cable). It feels sturdy and well-built for the price.BATTERIESUsed the batteries in a Nikon D3400. They seem to last about as long as the official Nikon battery that came with the unit. However, the camera does not accurately display how much battery life is left when using the Powerextra batteries. It will go from showing full battery bars to indicating they are nearly dead. This is a known issue with using 3rd party batteries so I have accepted it as a tradeoff to paying 1/5 the price of Nikon batteries.

LOVE these batteries! I got them to have backups while on a May trip to Arizona where I knew I would be taking a LOT of photos as an inexperienced newbie to DSLR photography. I also knew I would be shooting in RAW + JPEG for a lot of the sites (Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Monument Valley...it was a big trip). It was my first time shooting in RAW and Manual mode so I spent a lot of extra time getting my settings right - which can equal extra battery usage. I have a Nikon D5300 and the battery that came with it has done a fine job, but I found myself needing to charge it after one day of shooting. I kept one of these batteries in for a good 2-3 days of a LOT of shooting before needing to charge one, and even then I think I just went ahead and swapped it before setting out for a new day, just in case. I don’t think it ever actually died on me. Anywho, all that to say, I highly recommend them. I love that it’s a 2-pack and can both can be charged at once, also love that it’s a USB cord so I can pop it in my car charger USB port if I’m caught out and about with a low or dead battery (the Nikon requires a regular home power outlet). It’s also convenient that the USB cord folds up nicely and securely out of the way when not in use (it’s the little things). These are now my go to batteries, and the one that came with my camera is my backup. Get them - you won’t be disappointed!
