This item was exactly as described. Fairly easy to replace. Didn’t take long with both of us working on it.

Still 1/2 way done family member hasn't finished it. Better off for us buying a chair again

The product did not match my chair exactly but It was close enough for me to be able to use it to extend the life of the chair as the metal frame work was still in good condition. Because it was not an exact match the installation was a bit of a trial and error process, but it ultimately work.

This is lovely. However, I had overlooked the process of getting it over the top rod. I just unstitched the top seam and did a bit of resewing while on the chair. A video online suggested taking out rivets and redoing those. Nope, not going there!

Again, the bungee cords were significantly too short to use. Maybe off by 10 inches each. Did the factory understand centimeters instead of inches when they created these laces?? Luckily I could re-use the old laces, instead of running out & buying a spool of bungee cord which would have had no aglets. The instructions are in bad English (as this product is made in China so a non-English speaker wrote the instructions w/o any proof-reading). The first sentence tells you to drill out the rivet holding the chair together! Never do they include info on how to repair this damage or how to put the chair back together. Nor do they include any hardware to replace the rivet they instruct you to destroy that holds the chair together. Instead, I undid the top seam and hand-sewed the mat onto the frame instead of destroying the rivet (& maybe the safe use of the chair). The fabric itself is see-through, a low thread count, cheapening the look of the chairs. With the sewing & lacing, I spent 4 hours as the lacing looked uneven as this product had more eyelets than anchors on the chair. (Had to re-do / adjust the lacewings. After all I wanted it to look nice) and be safe). All this trouble for $63!!! I wonder if I would have done better having something made at the local canvas shop?

Fairly easy to install but you need two people to balance the power of the bungees. For the cost of a new recliner, this is a bargain even if it only lasts one or two seasons. Worth it to me.

The fabric is a little shorter than the original seat but it works fine. I just wish they had padded replacement seats like the one the chair originally had.
