Got an XL for my shiba inu since hes a little big bigger than the example breeds for large. It's a bit too big, I'm def getting a large next time. My mistake, LOL. We are using it to get him accustomed to harnesses + so he won't slip out of the collar (like when we go to the vet...) so for practice I think it's great since my dog is very VERY against leashes/harnesses. The fact tht he steps into it helps differentiate the equipment to him & allows for more handling training.This is still really durable when we take him out on a harness walk. Since I'm still training him, it helps when a stimulus gets too close to us or he goes over threshold because i know he wont slip out! I can focus on redirecting him without any fear ^^ I also think it looks so cute! I've had it for 5 months now and it's holding up really well! My dog usually doesn't really pull too hard though, so I can see certain dogs making light of the harness. I'll update it when I buy another, more correct size 🤗

This is the second time I purchased a harness from Voyager after my puppy outgrew his first one. I enjoy how easy it is to put on and I'm never worried about it coming undone because of the strong velcro and clasp. I also enjoy that Voyager offers so many different color options to choose from. The reflector is also a nice touch for when you walk your dog at night. These harnesses do get dirty easily if your dog likes to play in the wet grass or mud but they're easy to wash because of the breathable material they're made of. They also dry much faster when they get wet. I highly recommend Voyager and will continue to purchase from them.

When we got our Sheltie puppy at 8 weeks, I originally got the corduroy Voyager vest, which was so cute and seemed comfortable for her and so easy to put on. But when she outgrew it, the weather was too hot for that heavier/plush one. I tried a couple other strappy harnesses, but this step-in version is so much easier to put on (though I have missed a leg in the right place a time or two.) It is very sturdy. I wish the Velcro wasn't so noisy when taking it off, but she got used to that sound. We keep it on her most of the day since as a pup, she's in and out a lot. The two metal rings at the top click a lot and we joke they sound like she is playing the castanets. I wish it was a little lighter, now that it is so hot, but we need to keep her in a harness still, especially when we meet up with people and other dogs outside.I have a bunch of leashes, but I decided to get the combo and I really like the leash that comes with it. The handle loop is padded, making it much more comfortable to hold all the time, and it is very sturdy. I was thrown by the photo and thought I was getting the poop bag holder, too, when I ordered the combo. But it fits just right, even though she'd a fairly small Sheltie and only 10 months. If you have a bigger dog, you'll really have to figure out the best size.

Our pet puppy is muscle on the chest and pulls a lot. This item has been worth the purchase. It is flexible which makes it comfortable. Once our pet has it on it feels secure and well fitted. The material so far has remained intact and in good condition with daily regular use. I saw another person with the same Voyager Harness on their grown pet of the same breed and it just gave me a feeling that the right product had been chosen. Will eventually have to purchase a new Voyager Harness once our pet has grown out of it.Since the product has been reliable I don’t mind purchasing another one when the time comes.

This harness is one of the easiest I've used to get it on and off my dog. He always gets excited when I pick it up to put it on him for a walk. I like that the locking clip has a ring on each side of it for the leash so if anything did go wrong with the clip the two straps would still be held together with the rings.

I bought a size large with the leash for my new puppy. This is very comfortable and lightweight and sturdy. We should have sized down as she did slip out of it a few times when pulling her from the front, and without having experience with puppies, I thought she'd grow into it. And while she will, it would have been nicer to have the assurance of knowing she wouldn't slip out had I sized down while she is smaller. But this was well worth the money and will definitely buy this again should I need a larger one or smaller one for a new puppy. I would highly recommend to anyone as well.

This is the PERFECT harness! Especially if you don't like complicated or if your dog does not like the kind that has to go over their head... this one is a simple vest style and velcroes closed and then for added security, clicks shut over the velcro. Super easy to put on and comfy for your pup (no high neck or to tight around the tummy situations) but super durable and reliable. Highly recommend!

I have a Boston Terrier puppy, on the smaller end amd I have had to buy just about every size of this harness as he grows. He has now stopped growing and have 3 for him in all different color, the color selection is awesome! These are very soft yet very durable, and my puppy is a serious puller. I will not buy any other harness!

I loved it for the first day he wore it. He then proceeded to pull and the harness broke. He has been missing for three days now :(Probably fine for an easy going dog, but definitely not for a strong, high energy dog like our now missing beagle

Super easy to put on. Way faster than traditional harness. Bought Xs and S for our kittens. Xs for our girl who is maybe 7-8 pounds. Just fits and can snug up the Velcro . Same for our boy. He is larger 10 pounds plus. Didn’t measure them for sizing, but these fit. They walk around no problem because not too bulky.

Our little Pomeranian doesn't like anything being put over her head, so we always had a battle with previous harnesses. Even though they had adjustable padded straps with clips, she had to put her head through first. We originally bought an extra small size of this Voyager when she was 1 year old, but this is now a bit tight. There isn't any wear to speak of, and the velcro fastening has allowed us to continue to use it as she grew. This is the next size up and it addresses all the issues. The velcro fastener is supported by a clip across it where the lead attaches, though honestly the velcro is very secure itself. Fitting it takes seconds and she happily plonks her paws in the holes. It is easy to avoid putting it on backwards (or upside down!) unlike other harnesses I've used, and Rosie ignores it completely when it's on. A brilliantly simple product.

With my previous harness you could hear us coming a mile off with my dog coughing due to the strain on her throat, as a youngster she's just starting out with lead walking. With this harness there's no strain. It's light weight and comfortable and very well made. It doesn't appear to be causing any matts in her soft long hair. My girl is wearing an extra small, be sure to measure, she's 12.5 inches and it fits with room for some growth. Super easy to put on and take off and she appears to like wearing it. I will be ordering another as she grows. Totally worth the wait for delivery and it's a must for a small dog.

I've been using these harnesses for years and they are the most perfect ones I have ever found. They're comfortable, non-chafing, easy to fit and don't pull off if the dog stops suddenly. You can put them in the washer after a muddy walk and they come out looking like new. I'd honestly say you'll get two or more years out of each harness before it starts to break down or look shabby. Just be careful to keep the Velcro clear of hair and keep it closed when washing - that way it will last longer and close better and you will get a longer life out of the harness.
