I’d say this is the most adult purchase I’ve made in regard to a childish impulse. That may not be literally true, but figuratively in speaking purely about hair it absolutely is. I did one test strand with this bleach and developer, 30-45mins later it was w h i t e. It yellow out a bit on me once it was dry, but I got to say it was the most pleasant bleaching experience I’ve ever had. No blisters. None. No irritation. Just absolutely divine and glorious healthy blonde hair. I should add that In addition I did add the Brazilian bond3… It’s got a purple cap and a gray and purple bottle/tube… Anyway, mix it all together and put it on your little head and I’m telling you, One round with this stuff, and my hair was not brassy. I’m a medium to dark blonde/brown in the winter I suppose. I was platinum blonde for years and years. I’ve been growing my hair out for years awaiting the day that I would finally be blonde again. I will say this- to me, this didn’t really smell at all. My spouse thought that it was burning the inside of their face, but I think they just hadn’t been through the process before. This smells kind of nice if I’m honest. Ironically enough, I did invest the money into this particular bleach and developer, because I wanted to maintain the integrity of my hair as it’s gotten quite long. As irony and as choice would have it I ended up going on a girls trip, not liking the fact that my hair was a tinge too yellow and then going to Sally’s and getting the shimmer lights packet bleach after drinking some kinky-liquor with my friend and… suddenly I was looking in the mirror slapping bleach onto my beautiful, healthy BlondeMe hair that had not been combed through and I do regret it . I really c really do. Anyway, get a purple shampoo with this. Other than that, you shouldn’t have to do more than two or three rounds if your hair is pitch black I bet. It’s honestly amazing and the best bleach i have E V E R ever used. After destroying the part of my hair that I bleached with the shimmer lights though… Not only does that solidify my opinion of this product but also… No bleach for me for a little while. I’m glad I’ve got it on hand though. can’t wait to get dumb with my hair out of nowhere at 3 AM again. 25 thumbs up for my 25 year old self. Once I’m 26 maybe I’ll have two mistake mistake mistake shimmer lights moments. 💋✌️💁😘🕺🔆

I don't like getting my hair done at a salon so I do it myself. This product seems to work well. I would advise to be careful. I've managed to get from dark brown (almost black) to a pale yellow, or level 9, if you will. I waited in between bleachings and let my hair rest. I also did hair masks. You definitely don't want to fry your hair.

just mix both product together and use on your hair, I left for 30 min, you can leave for extra time, best is you can do after gap of 3-6 months if you still feel to get more blonde, rather than wasting your time in salon, my hair got literally killed by ULTA BEAUTY SALON, people do not care about your hair. this product is for the people who care about their hair, and do not want to give their hair, in hands of enemies. DO BY YOURSELF, its not rocket science. YOU CAN DO IT

Once and a while I skip the salon and touch up the regrowth on my platinum hair myself. This may elicit fear and panic attacks - but if you follow the directions and watch a couple of YouTube videos on BlondeMe, you’ll be right as rain. DO NOT use a higher volume developer than the one that comes in this kit. This combo turns out so lovely, with undamaged hair that I will never use another brand.In addition, my stylist always does the freakishly expensive Olaplex treatment and also adds it to my bleach. This particular BlondeMe has a bond builder inside and I didn’t notice a difference. I’m not saying I’m giving up on the salon - it’s a PITA doing the back of your head alone. I think I threw out my back by twisting around to see with 3 mirrors around me.But fantastic products. Would probably be lovely for highlights with a toner like Shades EQ afterwards.

This is the only product I use to lighten my hair. I have naturally dark hair & Afro curls.. & this lightens my hair great. It has never failed me. I’ve been using this for years.. highly recommended.

I used this to get rid of my PERMANENT red color that became a hassle to maintain! I did a bleach bath with 30 vol developer for 40 mins and it took out the majority of the red! Did I mention it was just a bleach bath?! I did another one the next day as I had to lift my roots in the back and get out the majority of red that was leftover. I am so amazed it took out so much color. Most bleach won’t even get my light brown hair to this level blonde and that was with full strength undiluted bleach. Starting out, I imagined it would only lighten the red little by little. I was so wrong! It also didn’t damage my hair at all and it was getting scarily crispy! I did immediately put 3 minute miracle on afterwards overnight both times. I am so in love with this bleach. Smells good too!

Went from brown box diy (I used a colour remover) to ash blonde. The second photo is before toning. But it lifted amazing and there is so much product left over

I watch hair Buddha on YouTube and have been bleaching my hair for a couple of years now (hair salons have always ruined my hair or not done what I’ve asked). Hair Buddha recommended this and I thought to give it a go as my hair as really suffered being bleached. This always makes my hair feel so good afterwards! Not how bleach normally does. It is more expensive but it’s worth it to keep hair in good condition if you want to keep bleaching it. I have dark level 4 hair so need to bleach twice but this doesn’t compromise my hair. Even though this has bond builders built in, I still use Curlsmith bond salve after just to give my hair extra love ❤️ I have used this a total of 5 times on chin length hair (mostly roots done) and I still have enough for another lot of root bleaching so is definitely value for money.
