Good chainsaw
Hello. I bought this Holzfforma 58cc Jon Cutter G5800. I use this to cut small to medium trees and hanging limbs. It is very nice for this. The 25:1 oil mix in the Ad is for the break in period first 20 hours of use after that 40:1 or 50:1 per owners manual.The owners manual covers G4500 and this G5800. The manual calls for a chain that did not fit the G5800. I am assuming the 4500 and 5800 are similar and they just added G5800 to front print of owners manual. The manual calls for a .325 .058 also states .325 sprocket. My G5800 has 3/8” rim sprocket.So the first bar and chain i purchased did not go with this G5800. I then bought a Forester 18” bar and chain 3/8” .058” 68DL this fits.Anyway i have used two tanks of fuel so far.A small engine tech said to let this JonCutter warm up before load cutting.The manual also states break in before going full out throttle on every cut.Good saw,good price.Manufacture needs to update owners manual for this G5800 to read 3/8” rim sprocket.I am not a chainsaw expert, remember to check and readjust chain tension often with new chain it will stretch quickly and jump off bar track when new if you don’t check the chain slack after several cuts. May have to tighten slack several times within 30 to 45 minutes of cutting wood. This saw is not a light weight, and i am not a young man. Good saw.

Great saw for the money
So far this saw is great. I've run many saws – used to do professional tree work – and this saw rips. I bought a 20" Forester bar and chain package for it. Cuts quick, doesn't seem to bog and has a very responsive trigger. I can't speak to it's longevity but so far I highly recommend for farm use or light commercial use or just someone who needs a bigger than homeowner saw, but doesn't want to shell out the money for a pro saw. I have a few chainsaws and find myself grabbing this one.

We have used a couple times and have no complaints. Starts up and was able to get the job done.
