Great For Helping People to Speak Up In Small Groups
I have used the Ungame for years to help facilitate sharing and openness in small group Bible studies. It is a very useful tool to help shy people come out of their shell a bit. There are several versions of the Ungame. This Christian version is particularly useful for small group Bible studies like Sunday Schools, home groups, etc. It is also very useful in helping teachers to come up with good questions in other classes to facilitate sharing and discussion. If you've never tried the Ungame before, I highly recommend you buy this and give it a shot -- I think you and your group will love it. If you are just looking to update, like I was, then this version is very similar to the original, although not exactly the same, and is certainly just as useful and packaged very well. Check out their website for more interesting games and more versions of the Ungame. EngineersGuideToGod

Just the right balance of exploration and Jesus
I love the Ungame. I've used it in other settings and had great fun. I was looking for something similar for a church group. Other activities and games that I found were very heavy handed with Christianity and often questions implied that anything other than Christian was bad, wrong, inferior. (Implications that I don't particularly appreciate.) Or, they worked off a set of "Christian" values that I don't identify with. The Christian Version has proved to be an inclusive activity that still helps players share their personal experiences.

Getting to know you !
Sometimes when you converse with people that you do not know very well, you run out of things to talk about. I bought the Ungame Christian Version, because I will be going from Boston to another nation that is 12 time zones away to help the poor and needy at one of our sister churches and to get to know one certain woman that is part of that church. We have chatted on the internet and talked on the phone, but have never had any face to face time. Even with a great conversationalist like myself, I will still run out of things to talk about in the 17 days that I will be in her nation. Ungame Christian Version will help us by offering topics to talk about. I bought the Pocket Version, so we can use it no matter where we go.

A great activity for a Christian group
I use this with a Christian youth group as a conversation starter / get to know each other activity. There are a lot of good questions in here for Christians, or people interested in the Christian faith, to talk about. This isn't really a game in the traditional sense (a competitive activity that is fun to play), but you hopefully got that from the name "Ungame." Many of the questions have a "correct Christian" response to them, but they can be used for personal experience and not just "what I think I should say."Middle School and High School kids seem to like these cards and would spend our whole time talking about them if I let them.

Very deep - mix with another version
I think it's a great game, but if you're using JUST the Christian version, the topics are a little deep. I've played the regular version with a high school youth group, but they got bored of this one quickly. I would say mix this in with others & you'll have a good mix of fun/light questions and deep/heavy questions.
