Awesome story told by a young soldier who barely escaped from the famous Goliad Massacre. This has been a fun read. Like reading Huckleberry Finn, but this is a true story told by the young man himself about his experience, fighting for survival, escaping the Mexican soldiers at Goliad and traveling on foot toward San Jacinto during the fight for Texas' independence from Mexico. Get this book while you still can.

Very interesting. About a prisoner's escape in Mexico and how he makes his way back to the friendly. Loved it.
