Purchased this book for a friend who was diagnosed about 2 1/2 years ago. The disease is progressing slowly but the symptoms are telling. My friend refers to this book often and finds it extremely helpful as a reference. Would recommend to anyone who is afflicted or knows someone who is. Certainly exceeded expectations....

This is truly a great, up-to-date, and comprehensive text for easy understanding of such a difficult-to-explain diagnosis as MDS. Highly recommended.

My father was diagnosed with MDS recently and I hate not knowing all the detail. Bought this book, read it and I now feel like an expert - I passed it on to my father, now he's the expert and it has put our minds at ease. I'm a very optimistic person but the way MDS was explained to me, almost scared me to death - this book explains it all and is definitely worth a read.

As I have recently been diagnosed with this illness, and I had never heard of Myelodysplastic Syndrome this book was absolutely helpful to me, it is easy to understand, and explains things very simply
