SkinSmart Antimicrobial Eczema Therapy with Hypochlorous Acid, Safely Removes Bacteria so Skin Can Heal, for Adults, Kids and Seniors, 8 Ounce Clear Spray

I wish I’d thought to take before/after photos, but—having dealt for weeks with the gross, blistery, weeping eczema that was completely covering my left-inner forearm and creeping up my other arm and my midsection—I was in no mood to collect photo evidence. Backstory on my eczema is I never had it as a kid and have none of the red flags, like asthma, sensitive skin, or allergies, that often correlate with eczema. I just started getting it in the last few years, and it only seems to flare up in the spring and summer, but when it does, it’s BAD, with one infected swath requiring a trip to urgent care and two prescriptions to clear it up. I spent months last year in oatmeal baths trying to get some relief. I was duly freaked out when it started up again this month. About a week and a half ago, feeling pretty miserable and knowing the most likely treatment a dermatologist would prescribe was a corticosteroid cream (which I prefer to avoid), I did an Amazon search for “eczema treatment.” The rave reviews for SkinSmart seemed too good to be true, but I liked that many were quite specific/descriptive and sounded as if they came from actual eczema sufferers. I didn’t love that it “smells like the pool,” but the price was right for a shot in the dark. I received the spray a week ago and immediately spritzed it generously all over my rash several times that day and each day since, applying and letting it dry completely after showering in the morning, again in the afternoon, and once more before bed. The fluid-filled blisters on my inner forearm started drying out within the first 24 hours, and by three days in were mostly gone. Within 5 days, all areas of rash had flattened out, and by that I mean: no blisters, no redness, and no swelling remaining. The spray also killed developing rash before it could get worse. The only remaining evidence of the horrid flare-up that made me want to crawl under a rock last week is some skin discoloration (which I know will eventually fade). The most impressive thing about this stuff is how quickly it starts working. It kicked in faster than the antibiotics and oral steroid I was prescribed when I had infected eczema a few years ago, without the nasty side effects. Does it smell like the pool? Yeah. Do I care? NOPE. Because IT WORKS. NOTE: This is not a moisturizing product. It dries out the rash and leaves fairly dry skin behind, but that’s easily remedied by using a moisturizer designed for eczema (I use Eucerin for Eczema or Cerave Eczema Oil) periodically. I used no moisturizing product for the first several days (per manufacturer’s advice), but once the blisters and gross crustiness had cleared up, I applied cream once daily after my morning application of SkinSmart had dried completely. The mystery of why I suddenly developed severe eczema in my late 40s remains unsolved, but I’m overjoyed to have found an affordable product that will help me kick its ass until I figure out how to prevent it altogether!

This spray product worked wonderfully for me. Itch stopped within minutes and the healing started. I would buy again

I have a pretty bad eczema patch on the back of my arm. I've had doctors look at it and prescribe ointments with no real positive effect. I saw this and figured I would give it a shot. I apply it at least once a day in the AM and always after a shower. It has definitely helped to reduce the eczema, but it has not completely knocked it out. If it had, I would have given this 5-stars, but since it has not...four stars. Still an improvement over what I started with.

I NEVER wrote a review before. My friend who does research on everything sent me this and I bought it right away. I just got/used this not even 12 hours ago as. I have severe eczema on my hands that leads me to go back and forth with steroid and other creams. It wouldn’t go away that I had to wear gloves all day before my package got here and it looked the same when I took them off to try this. I sprayed it on my hand as soon as it came in and 3 hours later before bed. I just woke up for work and looked at my hand..already 50% better! It doesn’t make sense, but I’m not questioning it! My cuts have even healed enough to type this without them hurting. I’ve tried clobetasol, ocean healed my eczema, hydrocortisone, eczema relief cream? All of those didn’t do much and for sure didn’t help this quick! I so recommend this stuff!

Yes, worked better on my feet than the 2.5% Hydrocortisone prescribed by my doctor, which I had to apply twice each night otherwise the itching would come back. One spray of this product, allowed to dry, did the trick and continues to work when it flares.

Didn’t do much

This isn't at all what I expected. It helps with dandruff, helps with eczema, helps with body odor even if you need to freshen up w no access to a shower. Blown away. It does have a sort of chlorine pool smell but I've been a swimmer my whole life so I'm more than okay with that.

This review is from my heart. My teenaged daughter had a horrific eczema outbreak. I tried different remedies, creams and lotions. Eczema was spreading throughout her body. She was absolutely miserable until tears filled my eyes. When the eczema reached her face and neck, as a teenaged girl, she felt like hiding. I literally prayed and asked God to lead me to the ultimate remedy before she developed self esteem problems. In searching Amazon, I saw this product (SkinSmart Antimicrobial Eczema Therapy) and read the reviews, I thought I’ll give it a try. Well let me tell you!….we sprayed the product on her and thought it was a hoax because it looked like plain water and smelled like (maybe) alcoholic. My daughter and I laughed, however we decided to spray it on her any way, (what can we lose). The next day I asked her to let me she if there was improvement, to our surprise, we could see minor drying. TWO DAYS LATER after the first application, we saw at least 50 percent improvement. TODAY-FIVE DAYS LATER- her eczema is 90%. Dried up. Her intense itching has stopped. Seriously, we hugged and thanked God for answering our prayers. Please if you suffer with eczema, try this product. This is a FOR REAL, ACT AS PROMISED, ECZEMA GONE, product!!!!!! I hope you can hear my heart. It was so hard to see my daughter suffer day and night and now she has a smile. God bless! I’m am so sorry I did not do a before and after video, but trust me on this one!!!!

Just a waste of money. Not working.
