Purple Matte Liquid Lipstick, Long Lasting High Pigmented Non-stick Waterproof Purple Lipstick (5ml, #744)

Bought this for a halloween costume, but was really impressed with the color and how well it stayed on all night. Would recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Beautiful. I have been looking and looking for this color. I had to get used to it it at first. It lasted all day (7 hrs) at work. I ate, I drank and still on. Lol. Thank you

Oh my god, the coverage! Definitely an Anastasia BH Vamp dupe! It lasted hours. Smudge proof, but not waterproof. After I ate and drank water, it was already fading at the inner and outer lip. However, it does not bleed into my foundation, which I love. I knocked a star off because it is IMPOSSIBLE to take off. Makeup wipes and face wash don't work, I had to scrub my lips with a rag and hand soap. 😬 at least it doesn't stain. Still an amazing everyday look for my darker aesthetic, you can't beat the price. P.S. I tried the black lipstick on for a few minutes to test it. It isn't fully opaque, I was able to see the pink from my lips underneath, you may need multiple layers for better coverage. Also impossible to take off 🤣 might need a face oil for this brand of lipstick.

I've been looking for a long-lasting purple lipstick in this particular shade, which isn't sufficiently fashionable for the more reliable drugstore brands, apparently. Other ones I've tried have all flaked off after a couple hours, but this one holds up well, even when drinking and eating - no flaking, no smudging. When first applied, it does have sort of a thin watery texture and dries a little slower than I'm used to, so that when I tried to blot it initially, it all came right off. But when allowed to dry fully, it is more durable than any of the other lipsticks in this color that I've tried. (And I don't expect perfection for $5, anyway!)

I got the black color. Feels very silky on my lips, only needed one coat for full coverage, so very easy to apply! Definitely recommend using lip liner as well. It did get flaky after an hour or two, but applying gloss over the top helped. Didn't smudge, and was actually quite difficult to get off (which isn't a bad thing for lipstick!)

I am very disappointed with this lip color. It is not hot pink. It is a bright pink and though I like the color, that is not what I was looking for. Sadly, this is the least of the problems. The texture of this lip color is similar to wet flour. And the application and coverage is about what you might expect from wet flour. While the pigment is good, this does not have good coverage. It took 4 coats to get a complete coverage. (No skin showing through.) The result looked thick and caked. It felt thick, caked and sticky. And it wore about as well as flour. Within minutes the product started to form little balls on my lips as they moved. After an hour, I checked myself in the mirror. Most of the lip color was gone. With only a messy sort of crust around the outer edge of my lips. I always wash my face good before applying any makeup as I have oily skin. I washed my face again and reapplied 1 coat. The result was not much better. The lip color performed the same as my first try. Just with less mess. This product makes dollar store makeup look good. I do not expect to purchase anything made by 7V Home Beauty again.
