Worked good at first: Died within 6 months :( customer service is bad too.
The goodish: At first I really liked this computer, I got it for some at home work and gaming (Minecraft & Valorant). It was great for work. Minecraft lagged badly in Java but once I switched to the windows/bedrock version it played smoother. Valorant seemed to play good but I don’t have great internet so it’s hard to tell & the PC would occasionally crash mid game leading to afk offenses. One thing to note is that the monitor it came with was a wall monitor, I knew there was variations to what monitor you could get but there was no info about it possibly being a wall monitor. It was actually kind of nice for me but if you live in a place that can’t have a wall monitor keep in mind it’s possible for it to come with one that only works on the wall. The very bad: As mentioned before it would occasionally crash completely powering down but it would always boot back up and work fine after. About 6 months after I got it the pc crashed mid use, I went to turn it back on and it popped up with a screen saying the PC needed to be recovered with a special disk. I looked up the error code and saw that sometimes that is caused by a usb or power cord not being properly connected and to unplug all cords and check their connection. I did this and In doing this found that the power cord (sent with the computer originally) had melted. For background I only use the computer 4-6 hours at max in a day and had only had the computer on for about an hour when this happened so if I was using this full time for work instead of just occasional projects I don’t know how this pc would have held up. I reached out to the pc seller and after about a week of trying to get in contact (calling and them never picking up or calling me back, them insisting on calling me and then not) they told me to simply pick up a new standard 3 prong power cord. I was obviously worried that there was a bigger issue that would lead to the pc melting a cord but did what they said. They didn’t tell me any other details like what voltage requirements it needed so I looked around and got one that matched the voltage that most on the market are, that didn’t work. I looked at the original cord and it had a different requirement and after scouring the web found one that matched it and tried it however that didn’t work either with the computer only having a flashing orange power light/nothing on screen/and the fan running loud. I then reached out to the seller again and told them this and they said to take it to a local computer repair person because my warranty had ended. Luckily I had gotten the extra asurion protection plan. I called their tech support and they told me that this usually means that the power supply unit has failed and I would need to file a claim to get a refund. I’m glad I got the protection plan but this means packing up a pc, monitor, keyboard, and mouse and shipping it to asurion in order to get an Amazon gift card refund. Bottom line I’m in shock that in only 6 months of owning this pc the power supply unit failed and on top of that the customer support was incredibly lacking once I did experience issues.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Won’t Connect to Internet
I have not been able to use this computer at all because most of what I would use it for is done online. It will connect to the internet when it starts up or is rebooted, but will not stay connected. I have to reboot it every time I need the internet. It also has a noisy hard drive. It rattles incessantly. I use a wireless keyboard and mouse and have had issues with the keyboard not working as well. It works fine with my other computers but when connected to this one, it will work for a little bit then start skipping typed letters and putting multiples of other letters and just going crazy. I would definitely NOT recommend this computer and wish I never purchased it because of course by the time I got my husband to set it up for me the return window was closed.

I have had this PC since June 2025 and at first it was super exciting petting it all set up. Everything looked dice and worked. However, 6 months in the monitor lied. Just won't power on. Fried multiple power cords and methods. Nope. No signs of life. Tried a different monitor, got it working. So monitor issue. Thankfully, I had an older one laying around. But as of a few weeks ago the actual box refused to power on at all. It give me an ember light code. Finally got around to getting it repaired and the ram has gone back. It has been less than a year. Ridiculous. And it is affecting my work because I have piles and programs I can no longer access (I work from home). Would give 0 start if I could.

Do not buy - find a way to get a decent computer by making payments
All instructions, which are a bit lacking, should be in a zip bag or sheet protector. Just add $2 to the price and don't presume because it's a "gaming" computer that detailed instructions are not needed. I deleted my original review. Selecting 3 stars until I get to use it for several weeks. Only 48 percent selected 5 stars, I don't know how I didn't see that before purchase, kind of desperate for a computer probably messed my thinking up. Update: 5.25.25 I bought this system on Jan 17th so let's say it arrived no more than 2 weeks later. The keyboard characters are starting to rub off. So get yourself some keyboard stickers if you plan on buying this. Also, the Scroll Lock is what turns the keyboard lights on and off. If you using Excel, for example, you'll have to turn off the keyboard lights to be able to scroll. 6.26.25 One speaker died. 9.19.25 Mouse is randomly clicking itself. 9.25.25 Screen goes black for a few seconds, not the monitor, might be the cable but likely the motherboard. 10.5.25 Computer locks up for 5 or so seconds. Soon, this computer will die. Do not buy. I now have to get another computer, I will use payment plans, and just lament the money wasted here. Only poor people would buy this computer so you know how painful this loss is.

Missing Parts, Monitor broke in 4 days.
The monitor didn't have a power cable and stand. I notified the manufacturer and Amazon, they said they will ship out a monitor cable and stand, it's been over 2 weeks, and nothing has arrived. I used a monitor power cable that I had, and the monitor quit working within 4 days. I'm done dealing with the Amazon return process. The computer system was for a 12-year-olds birthday, I had to get it working, so I just bought a new monitor.

Solid and dependable if you're willing to do questionable things to get the cords on
Use it daily, fast reliable the only issue is the connections in the back of the monitor were not connected properly so when trying to plug it in I had to use...questionable (dont try this at home kids level stuff here) to hold the piece in place to plug the HDMI and power cords in

It's affordable and of good quality.
The Dell OptiPlex desktop is exactly what we needed! I bought it for my home office setup and it runs super smooth — perfect for everyday tasks like browsing, working, emailing, and even light design work. It starts up quickly, runs quietly, and doesn’t overheat. I love the compact design, it fits well on my desk without taking up too much space. Whether you’re working from home or need a reliable computer for basic use, this PC is a solid choice. Great performance for the price!

You Get What You Pay For...
The price is decent, but ya get what ya pay for! NOISY hard drive, included speakers where only one speaker works at all, and a keyboard that does not light up as advertised. (Do they even check the components?) Also, several of the USB ports don't work. This is the 2nd machine ordered from Amazon, first one was DESTROYED in transit. Purchased a 2nd one, only to find it was from another vendor and over $30 more. SO... overall a truly MEDIOCRE experience from Amazon and this vendor...
