Works as expected
This cord worked effectively at connecting a second monitor to my 2015 MacBook Air. It’s a great length, almost too long for my application, but should work for just about any situation. I would recommend this adapter cable for anyone in need of an additional monitor without an HDMI port available on their Mac.

Does Not Work
The product description says that a driver might be needed in order for the product to function. But there is no documentation provided in the very generic package, and no site listed on that package on which you can download said driver. Nor is there anything on the Amazon product page. Tried to connect the cable on various Windows 10 and 11 computers, and literally nothing happens.Without a driver or a way to download the driver this cable is useless. Returning it straight away.

Why is this even a thing
Completely useless. I know my way around tech and I fell for buying this. It does nothing. But I was desperate for a solution and I bought it anyway. Then never found time to return. Don't waste your time.

Crappy one
I usually don't give bad reviews but this one is really bad. Had to fight for an hour and it didn't worked. Is it such a difficult task to provide the driver link? The product came with no installation guide. CRAPPY!!!

White USB connector
I do not think this is USB 3.0 since it is not color blue. It has a white USB connector. I returned this.

This Product is not to connect Laptop the Monitor.
I purchased after verifying that this will work to add external monitor, wrong information supplied by the vendor, Amazon should Kick him out. Deceptive advertisement.

Will not work for second monitor
I saw a few bad reviews for this but overall had a good star rating so thought I would give it a try. Was trying to use a tv as a second monitor for my laptop, it does not work. Tried three different laptops (PC & a Mac), no computer would recognize that the TV was plugged in. Will be returning and trying HDMI to HDMI.
