Does the job & easy to clean!

Currently, it meets the advantages indicated in the advertisement. I clarify that if your pan is smaller than the pad, the oil vapor will fall in drops from the protruding sides.

I like this much better than the mesh ones you can get. They always fall apart. This has held up nicely and is easy to clearn. Handle folds to make storage easy too

love these splatter lids - this is my second as I ordered a smaller size

While the concept is good, when I put corn mush into the skillet on low heat, I watched as splatter went right through the cover and splattered my stove as if there was nothing there. About 40% of the total splatter went right through the cover. The holes obviously are too large. I am going back to a screen as I did not have this problem with a screen. The silicone will discolor, but that does not bother me. This cover works in many applications…just not in a heavy splatter such as when corn mush is first put in the skillet.

I never thought this device would be so useful. It makes cooking less of a hassle since you don't need to worry about the cleanup as much. You can basically cook anything with oil without worrying about grease splatters everywhere on your stove. Cleaning this is also extremely easy since it is nonstick and everything comes off very easily with a sponge and some dish soap. The main benefit this has over a lid is that it won't steam foods, cleans super easy, it's much lighter and easier to store. You may get a slight steaming effect depending on what you coo but it's so minimal that I can't take a star off the review for it.Durability might be a concern if you're not careful with it as the handle feels a bit flimsy, I wouldn't put heavy foods on top of the splatter screen as shown on some pictures. But for the purpose that I bought it for which is to stop making a greasy mess every time I cook this is more than perfect and would recommend it to everyone.
