DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The way the screws and bolts are set up do not allow you to actually tighten. The white caps that fasten the plate to the ceiling can't do that because the screws they thread into don't stay stationary, they twist loose from the bolts that are included in the kit. I spent over an hour, up and down the latter, adjusting and retightening these before giving up. I have easily and successfully installed lots of light fixtures without any problems, this plate is just very poorly designed.
