I was taking saffron from a different brand and seeing really good results. I bought this when that brand ran out and felt terrible after taking it a couple days. It doesn't even smells like saffron. There is no way this is real.

Although the bottle only states this is Saffron extract and fails to further mentionit's from Crocus sativus flower - as DO other Saffron products I've used,.I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and 5 stars - because after comparing itto other Saffron capsules I have on hand, the appearance / color / smelland size of capsule are the same.This seems to be a good quality product in that the 'OTHER' ingredients are onlycellulose capsule. (vegetarian) = medium size - easy to swallow.> I'm guessing the label says 'super spice +' because Saffron is a spice =there's no other ingredient here but Saffron.The bottle certifications - vegan - gluten free - non GMO - sugar free -FDA - GMP - made in U.S.A. with domestics and imported ingredient's.

I am a test subject of one person and my experiences cannot ever be the same as that of another person, so I leave you to judge the efficacy of the product for your own needs via your own testing. However, in regards to this particular product, it is made in the USA with standards that exceed supplement standards that may or may not exist in other countries. This particular supplement is made in an FDA-registered facility and comes with a certificate of compliance and a certificate of analysis attached to the listing. That is a lot more than a lot of supplements that are sold.

These Saffron Extract capsules contain pure saffron extract inside the cellulose capsule, no other ingredients are listed. Saffron is an expensive spice to harvest due to the time and difficulty of collecting the individual strands from the flowers of the saffron crocus flower. Since this is a powdered extract form of saffron, you don't actually see the threads. It would be nice to know the origin of the saffron being used since there are different grades and qualities of saffron available. Perhaps the manufacturer can put that information on the product page in the future.I opened one of the capsules and the ingredients tasted "planty", I did not detect any aroma. Being a natural product made in the USA in a FDA registered facility using GMP quality processes helps you feel that this is a quality product and that the manufacturer takes strides to keep quality control high.
