This IEC C14 male plug to 1 gang UK mains power socket allows you to connect a device which is fitted with a standard UK plug into a UPS or IEC distribution board. It solves the problem of connecting up a device to a UPS or IEC distribution board which doesn’t have a standard IEC socket so a IEC extension lead can be used. This can often be an issue when installing the various IT hardware into a rack cabinet. Examples of this would be connecting up a laptop, router or PoE injector.
