TWSBIVac700R Fountain Pen F nib

Great steel nib pen with huge ink capacity. writes pretty wet (with J Herbin and Parker Quink) and smooth with a bit feedback.Overall pretty dang good for a steel nib, very impressed.The "F" stands for western fine. It iis pretty good for daily writing. If you are looking for something finer, go for their EF nib.

This pen is gigantic. I don't have exact measurements, but people with small hands need not apply. Check out their Vac mini if you want a vacuum mechanism.The flow and wetness that were big issues in the first iteration of the VAC 700 are completely resolved in the VAC 700R. The only time I've had a problem with flow was when I wrote more than a quarter of a page with the vacuum knob tightened down, and that's operator error. Otherwise, I've never had issues with the flow. For 30 min after I opened it, I jammed Noodler's X-Feather into it and it bled everywhere as the ink was literally dripping out of the nib. I found out later that ink bottles can go bad and this was an example. After X-Feather, I ran MontBlanc Irish Green in it and it runs it perfectly. My favorite feature of this pen is the amount of ink you can slosh around in storage.The only thing I don't like about the pen is I don't know how long it will last. From my experience you have to treat TWSBI pens gingerly or the plastic will crack or fracture. I'm unsure if they've changed the formulation since I stopped owning them 2-3 years ago. Another thing is they definitely changed how the pen posts, because there's no chance of it now. The first iteration was possible to post, although you risk taking out your neighbor when you have it posted. The current one is impossible to post, perhaps for the better, but I don't really like having to hold the cap in my other hand while I write.Otherwise, pretty good pen. I'll have to see how long it can survive.

I like the pen, but it dries out easily. I have cheaper pens that are always ready to go even after 6 months without use.

Awesome, as always from TWSBI. Cant say a bad thing about it, really.

I would have given it 5 stars, however, the knob on the vacuum system consistently falls off. I initially contacted TWSBI's customer service to inquire about this problem. They were very matter of fact and told me to just screw it back on. This is only a temporary fix, and I still constantly have to deal with the knob bouncing across the floor. It is hard to tell people how good of a pen it is when you have to constantly chase part of the pen. If this problem is fixed, I will be sure to update my review. However, I have tried many methods, and nothing has a lasting effect. Overall, it writes well and holds a substantial amount of ink.

Love it. Not one thing I dislike aboutbit

Acquistata per avere una stilografica da portare in aereo grazie al vacuum filling. Sono rimasto colpito dalla qualità di scrittura di questa TWSBI. Scorrevole e con un bel pennino. Presa con un pennino fine, che è più simile ad un Fine europeo che ad uno orientale. Il sistema di caricamento è semplice ed efficace e anche la pulizia per il cambio inchiostro non richiede molto tempo. La penna è piuttosto grande e il peso si fa sentire, soprattutto per chi non ha mani grandi (per questo c'è la VAC Mini). TWSBI fornisce anche il gruppo pennino come ricambio, nel caso si voglia cambiare tratto e O-ring, chiave e grasso siliconico sono fornito insieme alla penna, nel fondo della confezione.L'unico appunto è sul prezzo di vendita che potrebbe essere un po'più basso ma la qualità c'è.

Se partió el cuerpo del capuchón a la altura de la rosca a los diez días de uso. (En otro modelo aparecieron grietas a la altura del plumín por las que se filtra la tinta). El control de calidad es lamentable. No repetiré con la marca.

Verpackung: Schöne, einfache Verpackung der noch Werkzeug zur Reparatur beiligt.Verarbeitung: Sehr gute Verarbeitung ohne jeglichen Fehler. Sehr schön ziselierte Feder. Der Schraubverschluss der Kappe geht gut und scheint dicht zu sein.Gewicht/Grösse: Ein angenehm schwerer Füllfederhalter. Liegt ohne Kappe gut in der Hand. Die Kappe lässt sich nicht gut hinten aufsetzen. Dies stört mich persönlich nicht, da ich die Kappe während des Schreibens immer ablege.Befüllung: Dieser TWSBI hat eine Unterdruckbefüllung, diese geniale Technik erlaubt ein sehr grosses Füllvolumen. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass eine Benutzung von Patronen nicht möglich ist. Manche Besitzer scheinen darüber zu klagen, dass der TWSBI schnell austrocknet. Falls man viel zu schreiben hat, sollte man den Tintenfluss durch Drehung des Knopfes an der Hinterseite öffnen. Bei geschlossener Stellung kann man immer noch einige Seiten schreiben und ein Austrocknen des Füllers wird verhindert.Reinigung/Pflege: Durch das beiligende Werkzeug ist es sehr einfach den TWSBI komplett zu zerlegen. Die Reinigung wird so zum Kinderspiel. Es liegt auch Silikonfett für die Dichtungen bei.Schriftbild: Mein TWSBI schreibt ganz vorzüglich. Ich benutze zur Zeit Iroshizuku Shin-Ryoku Tinte. Diese fliesst ganz hervorragend. Es gibt keine Aussetzer und durch die feine Feder ist ein sehr kleines Schriftbild möglich. Zusätzlich sieht die grüne Tinte in dem durchsichtigen Füller einfach umwerfend aus.Der TWSBI ist zur Zeit mein Lieblingsschreibgerät und ich kann den Kauf nur empfehlen.

Mir gefällt alles an diesem Fälle! Die Feder ist eine Größe 6, was ich persönlich sehr Ästhetisch finde. Außerdem schreibt die Feder in der stärke F sehr gut und sanft. Des weiteren gefällt mir noch die große Tinten Kapazität.Die Größe und das Gewicht des Füllers ist meiner Meinung nach perfekt!

È una penna che ha un rapporto qualità prezzo incredibile. La consiglio con pennino F perché equivale più o meno ad un M europeo, il meccanismo Vac è semplicemente geniale. La consiglio senza riserve. Spedizione e servizio ineccepibili.
