Sharp in side the cage hurt my dogs paw
The media could not be loaded. The product is ok not as strong in the front as you would think. And the 2 sharp pieces in the front of the cage is a after thought and should be fixed. I would not buy again.

Great value on a crate
This is a great crate we looked at many options we liked that this one came with a cover to help our dog calm down in the evenings and go to bed. The cover that goes over the crate is a heavy duty canvas material. It has a door on the end as well as one on the side. The crate is very solid and well-built. It’s a good choice especially for the price.

Cover not worth the extra price
The crate itself is fine & the double doors with double locks are quite nice. My 12lb chihuahua likes the crate. I had not realized that I was actually buying a used crate & when it came it looked brand new. So, the cost was almost half of what it costs new which was very good. I was excited about the crate cover & it does fit very well over the crate. However, it is a heavy grade type plastic on the inside & a canvas on the outside which has a strong chemical odor to it. I tried airing it out by leaving it outside overnight. It took some of the strong scent away but not all of it. I personally will not be using the cover for this reason. Plus, it might be fine for winter & cold weather seasons but hot for a pet during summer months, even inside. Also, since it was used it did not come with instructions & I broke off part of the plastic clamp that keeps it together. This was annoying but it will not affect using the crate. The last thing that I can say that was a bit of a negative is that the doors were a little on the tight side meaning they do not open & close smoothly. I will keep the crate as retuning it will be more of a hassle than it's worth.

Easy to assemble! Love the Canvas cover!
I found the video very helpful for assembly although it was pretty easy. The only downside is I wish they had put the handle on top of the crate as it does makes no sense, once you assemble the crate that the handle ends up on the bottom of the crate except when it’s folded up! I love the canvas like covering that rolls up creating a see theu window makes the crate look less like a barren cage. It’s sturdy but not super sturdy and easy to roll from one room to another. I got the 30 inch so my small Shorkie has more room to move around in her crate and she loves the space. She’s also already crate trained and I heard the smaller one was too small and don’t want her to feel like she was in a crate but more like a cozy resting place. I bought a 30 inch pillow that fits nicely inside along with her snuggle puppy and blanket.

Construction seems subpar
I own three wire pop-up crates, one made by KONG (purchased from Petsmart), one made by Precision Pet Products (purchased from local pet store), and this one. I got this one specifically for my 3-month-old GSD puppy to sleep in at night while we continue housetraining. It provides more ventilation than his airline-style kennel. He's nearly 30 lbs. and I suspect he will have outgrown this one in a month. No big deal. My issue is the overall construction of the kennel... the latches that keep the doors shut are kinda janky and not as secure as my two other wire pop-up crates. There were some sharp/abrasive areas where metal was cut (down by the tray) and I put duct tape over them to (hopefully) help protect my puppy if he were to get a paw or toe caught in the area. Since I purchased this crate for short-term use I'm not too disappointed. But I absolutely would not purchase one again for long-term use. There are much higher quality wire pop-up crates out there that won't break the bank. I think the KONG one is the best out of the three that I have.
