RMDLO Collapsible Colander Steamer, Stainless Steel

This is the best kitchen gadget I have every had, very cool design, save space and easy to use. You can use it for camping, picnic, or i use it daily in my kitchen. I wish there are bigger sizes.

I love this design and the way it fold up in between uses. I just wish it was in a wider size. I have a family of five and it is too small for our large family. I can see it would be great of a family of 1 or 2. But, when you cook spaghetti for five you need a large cullender/strainer.

100% I applaud what the designers are trying to do. However, the execution is lacking. It's both too flimsy and yet, at the same time, too difficult to expand & collapse. If I were to live on a sail boat -- anywhere with a small kitchen -- the functionality would have a greater benefit. As is, perhaps it's best function is illustrated in the photo of Ran Merkazy and Freddie Camrass wearing the RMDLO as helmets.Also, it's too small. The product dimensions listed in the item description should be specific to the item's size, both expanded and collapsed. Not for the size the shipping container.

I bought this collander/steamer primarily for steaming vegetables. It appears larger than it actually is and isn’t big enough to use in two of the pots that I have in which I cook veggies. The collander is also more difficult to open for use due to the lower quality materials it is made of.

Love this product! I will never use a regular collander again. Bought this for use in RV, but we're using it at home everyday. It's genius.

Good tool for the kitchen. Easy to use, easy to ckean and easy to store.

This product is great! it takes up hardly any room to store it. It's stable when draining food. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 only because it doesn't fit a full pound of macaroni at 1 time.This product works best for draining most things except for very small pasta like pastina.

Well crafted design. Easy to store. Only complaint is that basin is too small and barely holds a pound of pasta. Need a bigger size to be practical and worth the extra cost.

bought this for my motorhome it is very good apart from when you close it you struggle to clip it together but my son in law who manages a plastic injection company (he,s a toolmaker by the way) says that to modify it would be very difficult because you can,t get the plastic out of the mould if an additional lug was formed so I,ll use a rubber band! other than that a well thought out product .

if your kitchen is so small you need to save on every bit of space or if you just like to have something a bit quirky then this is ideal. i like it, the wife was of the view its a bit pointless.it could have been a bit bigger to get the full 5 stars.

Really nice quality- it is quite fiddly to put back compact after use and can be hard to clean but it works well for what it should be doing, very compact in my drawers
