Love this filter! I have had it for 2 years with no problems. Keeps my water nice and clean.

This product is great for any beginners... As it's easily installed in the fish tank and easy to clean. Plus it gives you a chance to get a much better understanding of how the filter is cleaning the fish tank water.Also when checking to see if it needs cleaning you could very easily lift the filter pad up and see both sides the front and the back. It is hand washable, except for the filter unit you need to get a fresh new brush in order to help remove the dirt that's clogging up the unit. The brush will make your job so much easier and throughly clean the unit both outside and inside.A part from that the maintenance of the unit itself will exceed your expectations as long as you look after it.

Marina i110 is a very nice easy install easy clean filter system, I took one star off for noise but honestly it is not bad at all. The noise only comes it you allow the filter to stick up out above the water line then it makes a little waterfall which looks very nice and the fish like it... Cartridges are very cheap and best prices here on amazon> 3 pack x 2 cartridges and will last most of the year and the filter also comes with a pack of two , you only use 1 at a time. Marina i110 suitable for a 60 ltr tank while 100+ tank you would use the i160 which is very similar to the i110 and use the same cartridges. If water slows down or stops then simply take out the filter wash it and the gate filter replace... You will get anything from a month to 6 weeks using this method. These filters catch minute particles so no cloudy water and healthy fish if you are doing other things right of course :)

Fabulous product really like the back where you can slide the pump off the holder whilst that stays put on the glass and also better design so my fish didn’t get stuck behind it except I did still need to put sponge in the middle section of the back holder as that’s the only place the fish could swim behind it and get stuck. Cleared the tank very well and easy to use and obtain filters.

Do not buy waste of money cost you a fortune on refills .one refill only last a week designed to bleed more money off the consumer refills are very expensive cost you over 20 euros a month on new filter refill ever month stay clear better off with something with a sponge

This arrived with the intern inlet pump completely detached. I had the same issue with TWO of Marina's i160 filters, but my previous i110 filter continues to work fine after 16 months, so I foolishly assumed they only had problems with the i160.Clearly they do not bother with basic checks before shipping out their products.
