Good quality but they do sell a heavy one i will also order that one

leaking?!
The pot is heavy and sturdy. We're trying to make natural plant dye and after a few days we saw that there was a lovely stream of colored water down the side. It's so small that you can't even see the drips. If I was using it to cook soup, I would never have known ... but where one handle is attached to the side the bolt (?) must have a leak. I'm quite disappointed as reviews were pretty good. I guess I was just lucky enough to get one that wasn't so awesome.

Bought to use as a humidifier.
The air in the house is very dry during the heating season. I keep a pot of water on the gas range at low heat, to evaporate into the air for humidity.

Sharp edges
The lip on the pot is very sharp it would be pretty easy to cut yourself on the edges of this if you were not paying attention. I don't know if i just got the unlucky pot that missed that cleanup operation in production. I bought the cheapest pot i could find because its just for melting wax, but this is a pretty exceptional effort in cost cutting. I would not recommend this to anyone that wants to use it regularly, at least not without doing some finishing of the edges with some sand paper or a file. I'm somewhat surprised this item has such high reviews given the quality of what I received.

High quality aluminum pot used for boiling deer skulls. Thick. Holds heat well. Fits one large deer skull or 2 doe skulls. Do not try to boil a giraffe skull in this pot or you will be frustrated to tears.

Super proud of my purchase
Super proud of my purchase. It is a very strong, durable pot. The finish is very smooth. I use it almost everyday. Very easy to wash. The heat is evenly distributed so makes cooking very satisfying. It immediately replaced my 10+ years old stainless steel stock pot.
