Pretty machine that makes great coffee!
Great quality machine that looks just as pretty as the coffee you can make with it! It’s definitely an eye catcher. Small enough that it’s easy to move around and makes great coffee. Steam pressure is good too.

DO NOT buy this machine!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Cafe Espresso Maker in December. Five months later all systems have failed and both the warranty departments in the US and Canada have failed to return my calls or emails after some discussion.A few months ago it began leaking from underneath (not because the drip tray way full) which I was able to mitigate by removing some of the extra compartments located in the drip tray. Two weeks ago all systems failed (after repeated attempts to clean, descale and follow the troubleshooting tips in the manual and on YouTube). The cleaned grinder does not grind well, regardless of the size. When pouring the espresso the machine gets half way before all four lights begin to flash. This happens regardless of whether the porta filter is in place or not. The steamer only works intermittently and has a death rattle. The first sign of quality should have been the labels on the buttons wearing off after just a few months. The service through GE/Cafe has been a nightmare of getting the run around because I’m located in Canada but purchased the unit from Amazon.com Literally no one has been able to help resolve the issue. It’s frustrating and disappointing to think that we have a five month old machine (that was a huge investment) that no longer works and the manufacturer does not even attempt to stand by the warranty.Don’t waste your time or money.

Great product!
I bought it 3+ months ago, its been running great so far! No issues around grinding, water leakages as some folks have reported. I have only used the light roasted beans (bought from Costco).

Really disappointed..
I was really excited when this was on sale for Black Friday. My Fiancé and I were on the hunt for a good expresso machine after having cheaper ones in the past. I read the reviews that the grinder gets jammed often, but ignored. Well, two weeks into owning of course the grinder stopped working. Despite all efforts (YouTube searches, manual review) it still gave us the red light, even when it was cleared out. I called GE support and they said "just return it".. so I will be. Now, within the two weeks the grinder did work, it made a great cup of expresso. I debated keeping and just grinding my own beans with my smaller individual grinder, but for the price, would rather have a fully functioning machine. Overall, really disappointed because it is a beautiful machine.

Espresso machine
Works well but the grinder can get clogged. Easy to use.

Take the time to use the phone application and experiment.
This machine is a workhorse that will make some delicious espresso. Take the time to experiment with the phone application. If the grinder is jamming, reduce the granularity. I went from hating it to loving it after some tweaking. The end result is outstanding.

Stopped Grinding After 10-months
My wife has used this almost daily to make her coffee before heading to work. When she went to make her coffee yesterday the grinder stopped grinding the coffee beans (you could hear it spinning but no grounds were coming out). We have always cleaned the unit on a weekly basis. We ordered it in November of 2023 from Amazon. Today I tried to contact the manufacturer to initiate a warranty claim (owners manual states product has a one-year manufacturer warranty) only to find out the warranty only applies if you buy it directly from cafeappliances.com. For as expensive as this is, we are strongly disappointed in its durability and lack of support from the manufacturer.

Great Pump on An OK Machine
I feel pretty mixed about this GE Cafe' Belisimo espresso machine. On one hand, it has a 15 bar boiler which enables you to pull coffee shop level shots. The boiler is amazing, heat times are short, pressure is strong, and it consistently makes a great shot of espresso. This boiler you'd expect to find on even more expensive machines, and if the rest of the espresso maker were at this quality, it would be a rock star machine.Unfortunately, the rest of the machine does not match the level of the boiler at all. The conical bur grinder on the machine is inconsistent. You can adjust the grind time via the app, but with fine grinds the grinder can jam and getting it cleared out is a messy ordeal of fairly epic proportions. To get a double shot worth of beans you have to double press the grind button. This is kind of a clumsy way of doing things and it doesn't always work. Worse, the button labels wear off very quickly, and our 'grind' button text wore down in less than one week. Our first machine jammed up so many times I called GE for support and was surprised to find that on these machines they do zero support. If you have an issue, they just ask you to warranty replace the machine. It's kind of shocking that GE doesn't even have troubleshooting tips to address anything wrong with this machine. This is a WiFi connected machine, but the kind of coffee making automations which typically are done via WiFi don't really apply. The app really just lets you fine tune grind time, water temp, and other small adjustments. Odds are you'll use the app once. It's a wasted feature and I wish that GE had put the resources of adding WiFi to the machine to improve the overall build quality.Rating this machine is tough. Were it not for the boiler, this would be a two or three star machine. But what ends up in the cup is so good, it's hard to think of giving it too few stars. I think it ultimately comes down to getting this at a good price and understanding that if there are issues, you are going to have to exchange it.UPDATE: After using this machine for a while, I have to dock another star for this grinder. It's awful. Beside making a COMPLETE mess every time I use it, the grinder doesn't deliver the same amount of coffee each press. Beans easily get stuck in the hopper and I've had to go to doing a single batch of beans at a time to ensure I'm getting the right amount. I've also noticed that the included tamper doesn't actually go to the portafilter wall, consistently leaving un tamped grounds on the side. All of the button labels have totally worn off now, and the machine isn't all that old.The ONLY reason I can even lightly recommend this machine is the boiler. I have been able to pull some fantastic shots out of this machine. But every time I do, I wonder why GE didn't do a better job on the rest of this machine
