Mibro871570 Titanium Extra Life Metal Master Drill Bit Set, 17 Pieces

This is a great little drill bit set. I like the case most of all, but the bits are great too. Now, it is inexpensive, and the bits won't last forever, but if you watch yourself and take care of it, you will get a lot of service out of this set. I read these reviews where guys are complaining that the 1/16 bit broke when they were trying to bore a hole through a 1 inch thick plate of stainless steel. Well, any fool knows that these little bits are not going to handle stainless. For that you need very high quality carbide tipped fully titanium bits, not these titanium coated ones with no carbide to cut into something as hard as stinless. But, for soft steel up to 1/4 inch thick, Wood, and any other soft material, these will do you fine. And, when you do use them on steel, you are gonna have to have some cutting oil to lubricate the bit and metal. This will hold down the heat and make the bit cut into the metal better. So, if you didn't know, now you do.

These are some less expensive drills. Exactly what I was wanting. The ones that I have used so far have worked jut fine! I have only used them on wood.The exterior case is really nice. The drills are well protected. The only problem I have is that the drills are a bit hard to get out of the individual holders. They are in there tight. This could be a plus for anyone that may be carrying them from site to site as they will not come loose on their on. And perhaps the holder will loosen up as I use them more often.Over all I would certainly buy these drills again for myself or as a gift.

This is a nice mini drill bit set. I use these a lot in jewelry making and they really come in handy. I have to keep them locked up so someone doesn't decide they are his, and loses or breaks them. I am a tool freak. I love my tools, and I don't like other people using them. Mainly because when I do let a certain someone use them, I never see them again. So, he has his tools and I have mine. He loses his, and I still have mine. LOLI enjoy knowing that I have decent tools that are well taken care of by me. I don't like having to spend money replacing tools that someone else didn't think enough of to take care of, so yeah, I am stingy with my tools. Including these. :)

It's a nice kit of drill bits in a sturdy, latching container that works well for them. I mostly use them for little projects around the house, like drilling pilot holes and so on, but have also used them on metal a couple of times, and they've worked well.Time will tell how long the tips last, but I'm experienced at sharpening drill bits, so I can always deal with dulling as needed.For me, it's a good product at a good price.

These are made in China. I found they did not drill straight for the small od bits. I went with Montana Brand, made in the USA titanium bits which drill true. The case is nice on this product, but I wanted good high quality drills made in Canada or the USA or Germany. I guess I should have known from the price point. That said these make nice back up drills or an project where your likely to drill a lot and throw the drill away when done or not need it much thereafter.

I bought these to get through a high-grade 1/8" steel bracket. They barely scratched the surface. I will say that I also bought some Ridgid brand cobalt bits that didn't get the job done either. Surprisingly some cheep B&D 'Bullet' bits made it through.This set comes in a really nice case and the bits look good too, but are just not going to get through the tough jobs. For basic drilling they are fine and I'm going to keep mine around for easier projects.

Just drilled two 3/8 holes in 1/4 steel and did a great job and stayed sharp for now. Case is attractive and useful. Works best with light pressure on drill and extends the bit life...be patient. Amazon and UPS...a great pair to keep you at home and provide service/value.

I really like these titanium bits. The case is hard and should last a longtime. I will be thrilled if I could find a way to keep my husband from stealing them, that's what happened to the last set...not one left behind :( Maybe I should paint hearts and flowers in nail polish on the bits..hehe
