Great light bulbs! I got the 5k ones and love the clean white light. They are very bright, with a warm looking color. They put out more light than the old incandescent 100W bulb I had been using and without a harsh glare. And using 10W versus 100? I love that. I'm getting more of these for the house and garage.

Best bulbs so far
Purchased these bulbs May 2017 and installed them right after I received them in a ceiling fan light that stays on close to 15 hours a day . So far NONE have burned out. Great bulbs at a fairly reasonable price at the time of just $2.90 per bulb. The 5,000K is a little bright, but in a kitchen, that is exactly what I wanted. No more yellowish hue. I even have them in outdoor enclosed light fixtures and those also have lasted a long time. Thanks SELS!

Was initially pleased, but nearly started a fire on failing.
These bulbs were inexpensive and relatively well reviewed, so I snatched them up to replace some other garbage LED bulbs that were failing. Initially I was quite pleased with them; they lasted well, they color was nice, and again they were relatively inexpensive. However, this morning I noticed the light was flickering in my home office and figured it was time to replace one. Once I got it out of the light fixture, you could smell something was wrong, the bulb had a distinct burnt smell. The entire base was cracked (likely from the heat) and in the second picture you can see there is an small area that is actually melted and sunk in. Incidentally this thing was so hot I actually had to go get an oven mitt to take it out, it could not have been far from actually burning. Which is the reason the rest of these bulbs immediately went into the trash and this review got posted. Take my advice and stay away, for something that spends as much time on as a light it is completely unforgivable for it to be a fire hazard.

Super bright and white
Love these bulbs but man, pay attention to the brightness scale because when I plugged these in, they were very intense and very white. Not good for a more subtle light for a dining area or bedroom.

LOVE THEM, A couple of neighbors have these bright white lights. My mind said LED. So i purchased a couple, Nope not that bright white I wanted. So I asked one of the neighbors and he said LED's from Home Depot. So I went to their web page and ended up with a huge headache.So on Amazon's sight I found that the way to look at bulbs now is in lumens. So at this price I ordered 6 as I will use them outside. They are just what the doctor ordered.............Only reason for 4 stars is I have to see how they last........

Works well
I have one of these in a lamp in my bedroom. I keep it on most of the time and haven't had any problems with it. The coloration is good and it hasn't burned out yet.

I like the daylight bulbs not the soft white
I like the daylight bulbs not the soft white. The soft white have a pinkish tint so from now on I will remember to purchase the daylight bulbs.
