Ergodyne19822 Shock Absorbing Tool Lanyard with Two Self-Locking Carabiners, Tool Weight Capacity 10lbs, Squids 3110, Gray, Standard (3110F(x))

I purchased a bunch of these and use them for different things. I keep a few of these on my travel trailer for when Im camping. I use them on my paddle board to keep things connected and I also use on a couple of my ice chest to hold the bottle openers.

I work high-rise glass and we use these to tie off all of our tools when we're up in the air. However I've never used this brand before and I got to say I'm very impressed by the quality and the durability I.have already within 2 days and having these safety lanyards, my coworker accidentally kicked my drill off of the Boom Lift we were using and we were over 80 feet up and they did exactly what they were meant to do but when we pick them back up they weren't stretched out like other brands I've had. Would definitely buy these again just wish they were a little bit cheaper than what they cost for they are made to be used in construction and construction workers can't afford expensive equipment so sometimes we have to sacrifice the quality. This time I didn't and I'm extremely happy for that.

I use it with a stihl top handle saw when I am up in a bucket truck for work. It replaced a piece of rope, that was a hassle. I like the ability of the clips, however there were instances where the clip safety mech got in the way of hooking or unhooking. It wasn't long enough to attach to my bucket and have full range of motion while cutting, but I like that I could attach it to my harness clip and have better range of motion than the rope provided. I haven't dropped the saw, so I don't know that it would handle the weight while falling, but I have used it to suspend the saw and let it hang, it handles really well. The saw it probably 12 or 13 lbs easy and I haven't had any issues.

I wanted to attach this to my C-Wrench, but it turns out the hole on the end of the wrench was too small for the massive metal of the carabineE-waste.Edit*Hi. I'm from the future. It's 2023. I still have this lanyard on the same wrench. I deeply love it. Everyone at work knows the orange leash is mine. No question.

I liked everything about it.

The only complaint is how hard you have to pull to stretch it. Otherwise its perfect. The carabiners are very sturdy and have twist locks. The perfect length for working up close with semi-heavy(2-5lb) hand tools.

Sick colours and seemingly good quality components. I'm going to be using these for canoeing, tethering my backpack and other belongings together in case of capsizing.
