I had a Skull & Co case on my last Switch but I upgraded to an OLED version and that case no longer fit so I got this one. It fits perfectly and the case is much nicer than my old one. I love the clear so you can see the design on the special edition console. There are three different grips to choose from, I have the largest set installed in my photos. They’re very comfortable. I only play handheld so I can’t speak to how well it works with a dock. All the ports are accessible with the case on and the speakers are not covered at all so the audio is still good.

Update 3-13-23: After initially posting my review below, I played with the case more and figured out what was going on. The detachable buttons need to be pulled towards me more (if I am holding the switch to play), in order for the buttons to work. Even though it looks like it's properly placed, apparently it wasn't. So far it works fine, but I feel they are not as responsive if I am trying to press them continuously fast. I updated my rating to 4 stars since everything else is working great, but still just okay about the left and right buttons.Post 3-10-23: I really wanted to like this case since the exchangeable grips felt really comfortable for my hands. The case itself is the basic silicone type material that can easily protect your switch from scratches and falls.With all that said, the major flaw is the L\ZL and R\ZR buttons. By design, the buttons can be removed prior to installing and no matter how many times I try to fit my switch properly into the case, within 5-6 clicks of the L or R buttons, it sticks. It may unstick after waiting 5-10 seconds or clicking the ZL\ZR buttons, but if you're playing games that rely on pressing those buttons quickly, you'll end up losing or being frustrated waiting. I even thought about removing those plastic pieces and cutting the silicone part around those buttons, but if I do, the case will not hold onto the switch tightly.I had to give this a 1 out of 5 star rating. I can't even give it 2 or 3 stars for the comfortability of the grips, because if I can't even use all of the buttons while playing, the case is worthless.

I am obsessed with this case and can not recommend it more!I tried other grip cases, I wanted something that was a bit protective, comfortable, and docked. The others I tried were either super uncomfortable or were not dockable, despite being advertised as such.This case is all of the above and I love the texture of the clear case, very similar to my phones case, it is smooth but also has enough grip that it doesn’t slip.I do however wish there was an option to purchase more grips with more variety of size and style, something in-between the small and medium specifically would be great for my nephew since the medium is too big but the small is barely anything. Also would have loved for the grips to be a bit denser.Other wise no complaints! Love it!!

So seeing some of the other reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this. First thing is that there isn’t really a good grip case for the oled switch version out there. All the good ones are for the original switch model. People are complaining in reviews that the grip will not stay on. Mine seems to. And also that you can’t hold it with one hand or the case will come off. I can seem to do that. Now if you take it on and off constantly I imagine the tightness of the case will lessen over time and cause it to slide off when holding with one hand.Yes unfortunately it’s clear like those clear cell phone cases. Yes it will yellow however that is due to ultra violet radiation … aka sunlight. I myself have black out curtains in my room and temporary full coverage blinds over the actual blinds to keep as much light as possible out so I can sleep without sunlight waking me up. So that for me is no issue as I also do not play outside with my switch or in the car. So it will never see the light of day. (Side note, this is why you wear sun screen every day…look at the yellowing phone cases as proof to sun damage)The hand grips themselves are not as grippy as some are but they do the job. These ones are more like semi soft plastic while some others are more soft silicon. They do have a really nice placement so your hands will not fatigue. Which is why I wanted a case to begin with. The trigger ones are the best option. And if you get the carry case that goes with this it fits perfectly into it without having to remove the cover off the switch. Yes there are better grips on other cases but many cases for the oled switch do not cover all of the switch and only parts of it so if it is dropped some of the actual switch may or may not break. This case covers the whole thing.It is indeed capable of docking on the switch port. Yes you need to press it in about 2/3rds of the way. All cases will have this happen to you as cases will add girth to the switch. The ports are not made for cases. No it will not break your port as long as you are gentle. Geez there is even a freaking video for this case to show you how to put it on and how to dock your switch.Only down side is you can not remove the joy cons with the case on. Plus the clear casing does show fingerprints and smudging after a while that will need to be wiped clean somewhat often, where as other models are black plastic which do not show and usually do not collect as much smudging. Also the back of the switch has a stand that pops out which this case covered so it is not usable with the case on.Bottom line is this case is a definite 4 out of 5. As some others mentioned this is the best case out there for this model of switch. I do wish there were a better option. Now if you only want the grip and better holding option for the switch so your hands do not fatigue they do make a plastic slide and click product that will not cover the switch or protect it but it is very easy to use and does give you the hold you want. Plus it has a stand at the bottom so it can be set down and stay up right. However it give no protection to the switch.Hope this helps anyone wondering if they should buy this or not.

My only issue with this, is the fact you can't use the kickstand, and docking it even with the stickers is a pain. It's a nice quality case, and the handles feel nice. Little cheap but nice. The fact you can change them out to fit exactly how you want is an absolute win. The case fits nice but it looks like it's off on the top by the joycons. Also the top floating buttons are annoying. You have to make sure they are in their spot, carefully put your switch in and adjust. Also one more issue in the dock is it retains a lot of heat. All in all, I do like it, but I wish I would've gotten the other one. If you're like me and the kickstand is kind of your thing, go with the other one. If protecting your device is your main priority, this is definitely a win.

Esta carcasa/grip es la mejor del mercado definitivamente es compacta y protege bastante bien la consola de igual forma los gatillos están protegidos y lo mejor de todo es la comodidad y personalización. Tuve la versión anterior para la primera generación de switch y desde ahí me enamoré de verdad que no he probado una mejor opción! Si la ves en menos de 700 el paquete con la mochilita no lo dudes!

Tuve la primera versión en mi primera Switch y considero que era mucho mejor que esta versión para la OLED. Aunque si entra en el dock y funciona bien, el plástico interior del dock choca mucho con el del grip case por lo que se "pegan" y de verdad es muy difícil sacar la consola, tanto que da miedo romperla. Opté por devolverlo y comprar el de satisfye que aunque no es compatible con el dock, es mucho más cómodo.

Es un excelente case, da un agarre muy bueno para manos grandes y te cansa menos.Pero olvídate de lo portátil por que traerías una funda muy estorbosa.
