Pretty good for the price
I bought this product knowing it was the wrong size, but I had to make it work. The product itself is good. I used this skylight to replace an old emergency exit hatch in a bus I am renovating.I removed the old hatch (the plastic was brittle for age and wear, and it leaked). The hole measured like 23 11/16 inches. A perfect square basically. I looked literally everywhere locally, but since I live on a rural island in Alaska, the options were slim unless I wanted to pay close to $500 for a custom made skylight, which just isn't an option. I turned to the internet, and to my dismay, my findings were similar.I purchased this skylight knowing that it wasn't quite right but figured the flange would be big enough to cover the hole. I was right... sorta. I cleaned up the metal around the hole with an angle grinder, rust treated with ospho, painted with old based paint, and coated with primer and top coat of "snow roof". I then lined the opening with Vycor tape and a bit of Henry's roof sealant. I placed the skylight on top, it obviously didn't fit, but the holes that were predrilled into the skylight would have resulted in it leaking as they did not align with outer edge (Something I should have considered but obviously didn't!). I redrilled my own holes in the plastic skylight and adhered it with self drilling screws. I put another thin layer of Henry's roof sealant, and after it dried, I topped it with another layer or Vycor over the flange. The holes that were exposed, I filled with a resin + hardener typically used for fiberglass repair. It was INCREDIBLY tedious, but I am happy with the results thus far.The true test will come when I bring it outside. I live in a rainforest, so we'll see if it stands the test of time.

Thick and Sturdy!
Thick and sturdy polycarbonate, yet was flexible enough to follow the slight curvature of the RV roof. I installed over a closed-cell foam rubber gasket to ensure a leak-proof, air-tight seal (first picture), then applied self-leveling lap sealant around perimeter and a dollop on top of each screw head. It is also an excellently clear skylight (see third picture looking up through skylight from inside the RV to see trees and sky). This last picture also shows off the interior skylight trim available from the same manufacturer (ICON).

Much thicker and higher quality than factory original wish there was a no screw hole option
My 2013 forest river rockwood a-frame trailer has this same 26" x 26" size skylight window. It was broken when my daughter snuck up and sat on the skylight. The Icon is much thicker and sturdier than the original and would not have broken under the same circumstances. There are a few differences with this and the original. The tint on the original is much deeper and not see thru like the Icon smoke. The original does not have screw holes and is glued directly onto the fiberglass. The original has square edges the icon has rounded edges. I glued the replacement on with lap sealant and no screws because I did not want to put screws through the fiberglass roof. The only complaints I have is that the icon didn't have a no screw hole option and the flange is not perfectly flat without the use of screwing it down (which i did not do)

Poly dome, no movable parts.
Just what I wanted to let in some natural light during the day in my shop. Roofers really sealed them up well and used washered screws to install, About 8 holes per side and double flashed over rim. Not a leak!! Should last 10-12 yrs my guess. Probably be dead by then..LOL!! GOOD STUFF!!

Excellent product; produced in Canada
Excellent product; produced in Canada, I believe. It was shipped and delivered within the promised time. It replaced a much higher profile white skylight which was an eyesore dome on top of my factory-painted motorhome. The clearance between the inside ceiling and roof top is several inches, which allowed me to reuse the original inside half of the skylight which extends up into the ceiling over the shower. The new Icon Skylight seems to transmit even more light than the original skylight.

Good product!
It worked almost perfectly to replace the emergency hatches in our school bus conversion. The quality is great and very sturdy! We've had one up for about two months now and so far it's holding up amazing with no issues. / we are still waiting for our externabond tape to come in the mail to clean up our edges but it's not too bad, I'd recommend using butyl tape to weatherproof.Only con I have is that the fitting where the screws bolt in makes the hole fitting smaller so we had to attach a piece of metal around the edges so it can fit in place.

Travel Trailer Skylights
So far, I am very pleased with the Skylights. It took several days to get the old skylights removed and the trailer roof cleaned up w/o damaging the rubber membrane. Installation went just about like shown in the you-tube video. I used plenty of the special sealant/caulk and a butyl rubber sealant tape. No leaks, just amazed at the amount of light in the travel trailer even with the smoke skylights. I just wish I had done this years ago.

Huge upgrade from OEM garbage
This replaced an OEM skylight that resembled a blister from a card of cold medicine. This skylight is thick, rigid, and hopefully built to last. Installation wasn't "easy," but that's more a reflection on the nature of the job than this particular product.
