nuLOOM BIRV06 Area Rug, 8' x 10', Grey/Tan

Tried for years to keep light coloured rugs in the living room only to have our 2 dogs' dirty little paws soil them beyond repair, needing at least bi-annual replacement despite having them professionally cleaned. I really wanted one from Ruggable but they never go on sale so I took a risk and bought this 8x10 grey rug at the end of January 2023.IT IS AMAZING! I am so impressed, it's thin but waterproof so I've put a wool rug pad underneath and it's so soft underfoot. Super easy to vacuum up crumbs, dirt, and dog hair since it's so low pile and I didn't need to wash it until August 2023 because any spills were easily dabbed off. Finally a spot clean revealed it reallyyyyy needed a wash so I ran it through the machine twice on cold - the water was absolutely filthy but the rug came out like brand new, spotless and no colour fading. I put it in the dryer for an hour on the air only setting and then hung it overnight and it was perfectly dry. Pics are of it dirty post spot-clean, and laid back down after being laundered.Even if this does fail in another year or two, I would buy it again! Definitely worth the less than $300 I paid.

This is a great looking rug and good value for money.Pros:- The colors are muted neutrals and moody, good for an eclectic, modern or transitional space.- There is no blue tone or pink tone overshadowing the other colours.But there are a couple of things to keep in mind:- If this rug is placed on top of carpeted flooring, it tends to not stay flat and look unevenly place due to the lightness of the rug- The rug looks great with a rug pad on any hard flooring- The pile is very low, and I would recommend wearing socks when walking on itOverall great to fill a large room that is high traffic or informal

I got this rug, and absolutely loved it! However you can see in the pictures we had a coffee table over the middle and all of the high traffic areas are very worn compared to where the coffee table was. I am disappointed in the quality of the material as we have only had this for a few months. I threw it in the wash today hoping it would help, but it didn’t and all the areas that needed to be clean didn’t come clean either.

This rug doesn’t look like pictures. It’s also very flimsy and cheap. I would not recommend purchasing this rug.
