Better than factory
This is a thick chain. It might just be indestructible.Fit perfectly on my 08 Yz250f with larger rear sprocket.

Durable
I am a loyal return customer. RK makes a great chain. They last forever. I have a yamaha XT350 dual sport, and I got over 7,000 miles on the last RK chain and it still had a little life left.

good for the price
Running this chain on an XR200R, pretty quiet and smooth, easy to remove links.

EXCELLENT CHAIN!
Very heavy duty, good for the torque my 82 KDX450 makes. Fits through sprockets, guards, and guides fine. Slight surface rust on it, but still feels like it's packed in cosmoline. Master link is bright yellow, so no hunting if you need to find it later. A quick hit with chain lube and off you go BRRAAAAP!

Chain snapped and damaged the engine
Next time I'm buying a riveted chain, not this type. Less than 500 miles and it snapped. Thankfully, my son had just pulled away from a light and wasn't going fast. Chain slapped the engine damaging the lower engine case and cracking an oil pipe. We were stranded on the side of the highway for 4 hours

Chain looks well-made but is wider and heavier than OEM.
20% Wider and 50% heavier than stock. Fine if you are after maximum stregth, but this could cause some issues in the chain slider, and the the extra weight will sap acceleration because it will raise the moment of enertia of the final drive. You will never notice on a 450CC motocross bike, but you would on a 125CC 4-stroke trail bike. Also the finish is very matte gray, not polished at all. The price is right though.
