The reel seemed to work fine when it arrived, but in testing for my project, the power supply cable pulled the end of the strip and somehow the a few of the pixels got damaged. Of course no pixels function beyond a damaged pixel, but after removing damaged pixels, it worked fine.

I've purchased many many many of these and they have never let me down not once. I use them all the time especially in projects. They are good lights and stand the test of time. Great product. 1 thing to keep in mind though, make sure you get your power correct if it is 5v or 12v. Because running 12v power through the 5v lights will surely fry them.

Perfect for a WLED project, look no further.

I got these so that I could cut, and solder strips together but the metal contacts are so small and cheaply made the plate falls off after 3 tries. A bit frustrating. The lights work great as lights but for soldering projects these are not the ones.

Really good for the price. Came with a simple controller. I’m using it under some defusers I removed from office lights.
