Good cast iron
Good cast iron pan. Using it to search steak. No complaints. Silicone handle covers are a nice bonus.

DOES NOT Weigh 1 pound
Okay, my review rating is in response to the product description and questions answered in the "Ask a question" option.Product description states product weight of 1 pound. Search for "weight" or "weighs" on the review page, the response is "weighs 1 pound".This is an untruth. The pan weighs 6.4 pounds.I know this is cast iron and I didn't believe the "1 pound" description so I ordered it anyway, but 6.4 pounds is a flat out lie.I'll probably keep the pan and use in the kitchen. I was hoping for a lighter weight cat iron pan for camping trips. Not going to happen with this pan.

Heavy duty skillet
Very heavy cast iron and works perfectly, I really like the covers on both sides but I wish they would actually attach. That's the only downside though because otherwise this is my husbands new favorite pan to sear in. The pour spout is also fantastic for easy draining. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality skillet.

No handle covers
I really like this, but it arrived without the handle covers and the seller will not send them to me. They are insisting I pack everything back up and send it back rather than just sending me the covers. I'm very disappointed in this response.

Like Several Pans In One
I have a very old cast iron skillet. It's a heavy beast! I have a few baking pans...flimsy, but a kitchen staple. Then there's the casserole dishes. All are good for specific things. But then there's this...This odd little skillet-pan-dish can pretty much do it all! It's thinner than the ancient cast iron skillet, so the heat transfer is a bit faster and stovetop cooking is a breeze. You can also toss it in the oven like a casserole! If you're a steak fan who likes to use both the stovetop and oven, you don't have to switch pans! I only wish this thing had a lid, but hey, there's always aluminum foil.I didn't leave the rubberized silicone handle covers in it when placed in the oven, and they do have a tendency to pop off anyway, but I did notice how well they insulate when using this as a skillet on the stovetop.Like the ancient skillet, this one can be seasoned, and cleanup is cheesy easy. Since it arrived, I find myself reaching for this pan more than any other. About the only thing it's not good for is pancakes. Otherwise, it's got it covered!

My new favorite way to cook bacon!
I used to cook bacon in the oven on a parchment lined cookie sheet. That method worked okay, but the bacon floated in the grease. This cast iron grill, however, is perfect! The bacon remains elevated, leaving the grease to settle below. With an oven temp of 400° for about 20 minutes, you get perfectly crispy (not greasy) bacon. This pan perfectly holds 6 slices of bacon, enough to feed 2 - 3 people. And the bacon grease simply pours out the spout when you're done.*Note: This pan came with no instructions so I wasn't sure if the silicone handles should be in place in the oven. They shouldn't. The grips get very hot if you leave them on the pan while baking. Also, though this pan is pre-seasoned, the bacon stuck the first time we used it, so it'd probably be a good idea to do an additional seasoning before first use.

leider schlecht verarbeitet
The media could not be loaded. KEINE Kaufempfehlung!
