I did a ton of research, comparing the Blackstone to the Camp Chef and ultimately decided on the Blacktone and I am extremely happy with it. It didnt take long at all to assemble it, very easy! Seasoning was really quick as well. We used this for breakfast, feeding 8 people at our campsite and just that single use, the griddle paid for itself!!! I read reviews of the grease being a mess, I did NOT have any issues. Make sure you level it properly with a slight angle leaning towards the grease collection point and you wont have an issue. I LOVE THIS GRIDDLE and when camping season is complete, I will be moving it to the house!!! Great product!

it is a shame that it is probably all the bad reviews that have caused this to not be available any more. I bought one of these for my dad's Blackstone in 2019 and have used it all summer every summer since and it is still going strong. i do not put any extra care into it than i do my Char-Griller. It did take a little assembly but nothing that out weighs the benefit. this thing is awesome. yes you have to remove the griddle top to use it but it just lifts off and you exchange them. i got the bag to put whichever piece i am not using in while using the other....so simple. as far as it not heating up and cooking the food....simply not true. i cook steaks, wings, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, turkey, sausage, pork loin, grilled veggies.... it heats up and cooks everything i throw on it just as good as any other grill i have owned. clean up is not that bad....stop the drama. if you clean your grill like you should then this is not a problem and once a summer i take the screws out (not really that big of a deal) and give it a deep clean and simply put the screws back in (all the whining not required). going on the fifth summer using this and it is great to have the 36" available for family gatherings on a device we already own. i just wish it was still available so i could buy one for my Blackstone. anyone who did not like theirs let me know, i will buy it.

I purchased this back in June of 2018. I Have used it every day of the summer at camp for the past 5 years and is still working great. The trick is keeping it seasoned and covered when not in use. I will definitely purchase again when needed.

I bought the blackstone 36" griddle. I later found this 36 Grill top and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I thought I would order the Blackstone Grill/Griddle Carry Bag to store whichever top I wasn't using. The bag came with a nice heavy fabric and carry straps looks like good quality. When I received the grill top I placed in bag. A tight fit but fit (along with wind and grease tray)and I carried out to griddle. I noticed the grill top came with hooks and it attaches behind the griddle and hangs securely when not in use. I haven't actually used the grill yet but it hangs nicely behind the grill waiting for use. I just ordered some replacement parts for my BBQ and spent more than I paid for the grill. If I would've found this first I wouldn't have fixed my BBQ. This is a great deal and you can't beat the price. It has nice covers to protect the burners and a grease trap that fits underneath unit.I bought the cover for the griddle and covers my propane tank the griddle and the hanging Grill behind unit at the same time. Not sure I will ever need the bag unless I am going to transport the grill somewhere. If your grill stays on your porch and you are only buying to store the second top, buy the "Blackstone 36 Inch Grill and Griddle Cover (Fits Similar Sized Barbecue)" first. If you are caterer or plan on traveling with Griddle than Bag looks nice and will definitely wow when you show up. The 36" Blackstone griddle is awesome and a must have for every home cook. With summer coming up it makes a great morning breakfast for the family with bacon, hash browns, pancakes(once seasoned), even fried eggs (once seasoned). Throw the grill on for that perfect summer lunch of Hamburgers and grilled chicken. Put the griddle back on for the night time festive fajitas with grilled peppers and onions and use up that leftover chicken from lunch.

This is a great addition to my blackstone flat top. Was worried After reading some reviews about but I have found it to grill steaks pork chops and chicken in the same amount of time that it took on my traditional dome lid propane grill. Assembly was easy and directions are included.As to value, I was looking to replace my grill and took a chance on this as my option. I am glad I did. One less outdoor cooking appliance taking up space. The grill top (and griddle top with slight modifications of adding studs) will store out of the way on the back of the blackstone unit all safely out of the weather under the cover.

I got this when it was on sale for $69. I don't see how they can make any money at that price. This is a quality grill, very well constructed. The instructions for installing the drip tray weren't the best but I quickly figured it out. I like the hooks that allow you to hang this from the rear of the griddle when not in use. It is very convenient

Just bought the Blackstone 36 inch Outdoor Flat Top griddle, BBQ Tool Kit and the Grill Top Accessory from Amazon. Got it all today and put together in about an hour and it is truly amazing and better than I expected. Easy to put together and excellent quality. I love it when you can find great USA made products!
