Awesome! Love it!
This was my nephew’s first 3D puzzle attempt. He loved it. We separated all the numbers by 100s first in piles. Then, each pile set we sorted in order. He put it together with almost no help once he did the first few and understood. The numbers and arrows on each piece show which piece is next and where it goes on. He is in first grade. With adult help/supervision, this age or older can do it. It came out really nice. He enjoyed assembling it. Having a globe made by him displayed, and one that he can use is very cool! Highly recommend for a project to spend time with a child who enjoys puzzles, or for anyone who enjoys them! There is no glue needed it holds well together. Very happy with product.

Awesome puzzle
I really enjoyed this type of puzzle. It was numbered inside so it was easy to put together. Didn’t have to figure out which piece goes next to what. Also when finished I got a cool looking globe out of doing a puzzle. Pretty fun.

Amazing quality and lots of fun
I have done 3D puzzles before and this one is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade. Here's why: - made of thick, rigid plastic. I have only done the ones that are the thick cardboard with the grid edges. This one, however, is excellent quality, thick and rigid plastic - easy to put together because every piece has a number and arrow behind it. The numbers can be assembled in pieces, and the arrow shows you which part the next piece goes into! Very cool! If you are a parent who goes overboard with the education part and wants your kid to solve that without the numbers, just keep the pieces face up, and you can solve it like a regular puzzle - the stand comes with it, attaches very easily, is sturdy, looks great - the size of the puzzle is great. It is not too large to dominate a room, but not too small where it would get lost in the noise. It will sit nicely on a desk or atop a bookshelf. - once assembled, it looks awesome and will stay together without glue - overall, I was impressed with the quality, ease of use and the final product once we finished the puzzle. I bought this for my 12-year-old and it was a great project to do together

Fun and unique little puzzle, but no challenge
If you like the challenge of solving a jigsaw puzzle, this one doesn't have that. The pieces are numbered and you have to just place them in order starting from 1. However it's still a nice little activity and gift that's a bit different than a regular jigsaw puzzle and you can place it on a table or somewhere to create a memory.

Great puzzle and lots of fun!
I do a lot of puzzles, but this was the first 3D one I’d ever done. It was easier than I had expected, taking a total of about 3-4 hours to complete. However, it was still a ton of fun. I started by separating the pieces out on trays, sorting them by number in groups of 100. I did the bottom part (pieces 1-100) using the numbers so I could get a hang of how the pieces went together and then tried to do the rest of it like a normal puzzle, ignoring the numbers. I only had to result to using the numbers a few times. I was thinking that I’d have to put a layer of glue over it after I was done to use it as a display piece/functional globe, but I was pleasantly surprised by how durable it is. The thick plastic pieces snap together perfectly, making it almost impossible to break apart once its assembled. The stand is very nice and sturdy as well. Overall, great puzzle and lots of fun!

I bought one as a gift, loved it so much I had to buy one for myself!
This puzzle ball has led me down the dark path. It started it all. I now have six puzzle balls, 1 pyramid, 1 vase, and 1 jar completed...and another ball and pyramid on the way. I think my original ravensburger globe is still my favorite (may be replaced by the antique ravensburger that is on its way from ebay). I've completed three 540 ravensburger balls, one 240 ball, and one 240 pyramid and they are high quality. The pieces click very well together. Sometimes they stick a bit, but use the non-rotating stand as a brace to force them to click nicely and they'll stay better. I've also found on some of the larger balls it helps to do them twice, once from 1-540 and the second from 540-1 and then the finished puzzle will be smoother (as you get towards the end you can only use your fingers to push the pieces together, without the additional leverage they don't always go in smooth). This is one of the best puzzle balls you can get. You can find globes by other companies, but they don't include the spin stand and they just aren't as high of quality. You can find this exact puzzle from 3rd party sellers, but with all puzzles you want to make sure it hasn't been opened so you aren't missing pieces. All my puzzles (so far) have been sealed and not one has a missing piece.

Great Fun!
Ravensburger does it again! Wonderful quality, pieces fit together beautifully. As is absolutely necessary for a globe, the words are very small and yet very readable. It is very simple to put together. There is a lot of sorting by the numbers on the back of the pieces. Which is, in itself, satisfying. Tactically speaking, this is also a very satisfying puzzle. Once put together, it is extremely sturdy. The pieces are plastic. They fit together well and hold together well. I have not yet disassembled it, so I am unaware of how that process might go. The base that holds the globe is a very simple design but does its job well. I would highly recommend this product to any map/globe enthusiast!
