My dog was recently changed to a Keto-style diet due to Mast Cell Tumors (MCT). So I had to find something to use that was keto-friendly as a substitute for pill pockets and kong stuffin'. This fits the bill! I just take a spoon, scoop some out of the jar, drop the pills in it, and then cover them up and let her lick the spoon. I put the spoon almost on the floor because she sometimes flings the pills off with her tongue so I don't want them to go flying too far. She'll find them on the floor and lick them up with no problems usually. Every once in a while I'll have to recoat one but it is seldom. She loves this stuff so much that she doesn't even give it a thought that something else could be hidden in it!It also works great for Kongs. I just scoop some in a spoon and drop it in the Kong and give it to her to lick out as I go to work. I haven't tried the beef flavor, but this chicken flavor is working great for us and I am thankful to find something that is keto-diet-friendly.

This was bought to use with my pups lick pad. It came to my house open as if someone opened it, scooped the spread out used it then sent it to costumer (me), not impressed will not get again. This was a poor and disappointing experience.

My 22# Australian Labradoodle is VERY picky about dog food & treats - no matter the cost and additions of real meat. With effort, I could get her to eat high end kibble when mixed with high end wet food but I hated using all those cans. Enter Visionary Pet Foods Keto Peanut Butter Alternative for Dogs. My dogs love this, but the consistency is very gritty, almost like wet sand, yet smells like meat. It's very off-putting to scoop and serve because of that, but otherwise everything is great.

My dog loves this stuff! He’s the type that hates fruit, hates fresh, cold, & raw veggies. He’s definitely a true dog. I tried all the other brands that make like “brownie batter butter,” & “birthday cake butter,” but he would not go near it! Only like this type! Lots of protein in this too!

It is very grainy and the seal was open upon arrival. I have a 2 year old Yorkie and thought this would be helpful to spread on a licking pad during fireworks for 4th of July. He is very picky and does not like Peanut Butter so I figured this would be a great fix.He sniffed it and walked away. Then I tried to put a little on his tongue, he seemed to be okay with it but it made his breath stink just off the small portion.It smells a bit like chicken poop. Would not be buying again for the price, smell, and quality.

My dog loved the flavor but the jar has a lot of cow hair and unknown particles. It makes me wonder about the quality of the meat and tallow.

First off let me say that my malinois is sort of a picky eater. He LOVED peanut butter… until he didn’t. Won’t touch even touch it now! It was great to keep him occupied in one spot but once he didn’t like peanut butter anymore I had to find something else. And this is the something else! No idea this existed and it’s healthier too! A little goes a long way so the price seems fair for what you get. I get 10” beef cheek rolls and slather this on the inside with a knife so it doesn’t smear anywhere and man, this will keep him busy like nothing else I’ve found yet will. I’ve only had it 2 days and it’s already been a game changer. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
