International website sellers give the weight limit as 275lbs vs the USA's 350lbs. I say that even 275 is overstated, with the MAX LIMIT being about 250lbs. Don't be fooled by rugged external appearance because Nordictrack cuts corners in the unseen areas. I had an axle break because a screw got loose over time and escaped my attention. Finally the central tower started squeaking and I found that it had developed a crack near a bolt. Replacing this tower section is EXPENSIVE.Before dying the machine was lightly used and served as a low impact walking machine by a 260lbs individual. It was carefully maintained and treated very well. A person of 200lbs being very careful in maintenance could get maybe a year's use out of it. These machines were introduced at $1500+ and now sell below $1000. Today in Summer 2023 Everything else is WAY WAY WAY UP in price but THIS MACHINE!? THAT is all you need to know LOL!You might be thinking "This reviewer is not as savvy and mechanical as myself, so I being very smart will find a way to 'make it work'."
