We use this product for my grandson with multiple food allergies and sensitivities. It helps calm the anxiety he feels after eating foods that he needs like meat proteins and certain fruits & vegetables but can't avoid in order to maintain health. We give it during the meal and helps avoid the upset a few hours later.

These supplements are a life saver for histamine intolerance / MCAS. Highly recommend brand after trying several others.

I have this DAO on auto-ship, it’s the most effective product and brand that I have found to counter to histamine reactions from food which I developed as a result of living in mold for 4 years. I’ve used it for 3 years and could not eat without it. I highly recommend it!

I have histamine intolerance. Before I started taking DAO my diet was super limited. Since I began taking DAO I can pretty much eat whatever I want. I’ve tried a few different DAO brands and I feel Omne Diem is slightly better/more effective than the others. I’m thankful for this product and how it allows me to live a more normal life.

I'm disappointed in Omne Diem. I've used about seven bottles of this product, and one bottle in January had an extremely strong plasticky petroleum smell. I tried to take them a few times and gagged severely, so much so that I actually vomited. I decided to reach out to Omne Diem, the manufacturer, for their advice. When I emailed them, they admitted there was a manufacturing defect with a certain batch of products released on the market. They explained: "It seems a few bottles at the end of a 5,000-bottle production batch were affected by the heat seal staying on too long which caused an odor to develop inside the bottle. Please return the product to us for a free replacement." This explains why the pills tasted strongly of plastics, almost like petroleum. Because the pills were infused with heated plastics. But I understand these things happen and I didn't get angry; I decided to just take them up on their offer. They got back to me later saying they couldn't find my order number. I explained, again, that I purchased on Amazon, and I had already provided them with the receipt PDF. It was at this point that they completely ghosted me. They stopped responding to my emails. I reached out several more times giving them an opportunity to correct the situation, and they never answered any of my messages after that point. So, know that you might be potentially buying a product that is not subject to sufficient quality control... which might produced by a company that just might completely ignore you if you are affected by such an issue. I wish you better luck than I had.

Update: I am updating this review to 4 stars, because my confidence in the quality control is now shaken. I depend on this stuff and if a bad bottle comes that means I am without and have my symptoms for several days until I can get a replacement. But I might consider ordering this brand again because I did finally receive a refund for the bottle I describe below, and the capsules have always worked great, and come at a very competitive price. original review: I have purchased this supplement 5 times. I found it worked just as well as much more expensive brands (eg. xymogen). However, in the last bottle I received, the capsules have a very strong odor like the smell of a candle when you burn it out. There must have been some kind of problem in the manufacturing process to produce this powerful of an odor. I can't imagine that burnt wax smell could be created by anything that I want to put inside my body. I can only conclude that there is no good quality control. Furthermore, I have tried contacting the seller to no response, and there appears to be no way to contact the manufacturer apart from the "distributor" (Omne Diem) address on the bottle. So unfortunately, I will never order this again as I really can't risk opening another unreturnable bottle of defective, likely toxic capsules. This is to say nothing of having to live without this enzyme I apparently lack and benefit so much from all the while I have to sort this out. What a drag!

If histamine is your problem then these should help. I recently suspected I have a histamine intolerance. I can draw on my skin and I struggle with flushing especially after high histamine foods which are some of my favorite foods. After taking this supplement I have been able to keep the majority of my flushing at bay. And I turn reallly red after drinking alcohol, especially wine. I recently added high dose quercetin to my regimen and with that I was able to completely eliminate my flushing, even with drinking. I am so excited I figured this out and that I can socialize without turning bright red again! For reference I am taking 400mg of quercetin with it.

If you have a history of challenges this product is definitely worth trying and it's very good
