A visual schedule for kids (or visual timetable) of 35 picture cards that together create a visual aid for autism or daily routine chart for children for use at home. This makes a great starter pack or visual schedule for toddlers if you need a wall calendar but don't know where to begin. The set comes with two display boards and each of the visual aids has a VELCRO Brand loop coin stuck on the back, allowing you to easily attach them to the VELCRO Brand hook strip on the boards and change them around as you need to, making a fantastic visual timetable for autistic children and adults. The pictures or visual symbols included in this adhd planner are: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, drink, toilet, brush teeth, get dressed, brush hair, bath, shower, school, tidy up, car, homework, swimming, shopping, walk, story, bedtime, park, pyjamas, play, friends, club, T.V., wash, wash hands, medication, phone, tablet, computer, home, shoes on and coat on so it supports the morning routine and bedtime routine. To use, simply attach the two boards to the wall one after the other using something like sticky tack. You can display them horizontally or vertically, whichever works for you. Then display the pictures of the next few activities in your day, displaying up to 10 at once. (Any more than this might be too much information for the user). Once these are complete you can display the next cards. These cards can also be used as PECS cards for PECS books and support nonverbal communication. At Create Visual Aids we make daily routine charts for kids such as weekly timetables, Now and Next boards, Now, Next and Then Boards, Communication Books and lots of other visual resources and communication aids that support alternative and augmentative communication. Visual schedules are a type of AAC and can be used in picture exchange communication system.
