i reprogrammed mine in the momentary mode. i have an slide gate opener at a distance of 150 ft . the standard remotes does not work,

This remote relay works well & has quite am impressive range. I've used it up to about 800 feet. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in my application. I put it on my granddaughters battery powered ride on hummer (that I've modified extensively & now its pretty fast) so I could remotely shut it down if she got into trouble or too far away. The problem is apparently the motors create interference & it won't respond to the remote if she's riding it. If she stops I can turn it on & off all day long but as soon as the motors power up it stops working. I've tried putting filter caps on the motors & even hooked up an extended aerial antenna & still no dice. But for applications other than mine, it will do what you need with a nice long range too. It is a two channel unit with a NO & NC output on each channel. Plus It's programmable to operate in several different configurations. Very nice remote relay.

Programming instructions for mine (at least) are wrong. On mine one flash is Interlocked, two flashes is Self-Locking, and three flashes is Inching (momentary). When linking, after pushing the button on the remote to link it, wait a second and then push it again to end the linking process. If the button isn't pressed the second time, the linking will time out and not activate. This could also explain a couple of the bad reviews. Mine worked great after I figured it out.

No relay action at all. Never worked right out of the package. Seems like quality is lacking with many imported items. Apparently no QA/QC is performed, they are just playing the odds that it will work after shipping across the ocean. I need this controller, so I ordered another to see if it works.Update: I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. The instructions in the first question's answer above is the proper method to get this to work. I believe failures are because of improper programming, which is easy to do. I am testing the unit to see how long the battery will last. It seems to drain a battery pretty quickly.AND inching (momentary) is three flashes, not one.Update Update: Just when I thought it was safe to forge ahead with my project, BOTH of these units just quit. Relay #1 just stopped working on both boards. This is getting frustrating. I guess I'll order a dozen and send the 11 bad ones back.UPDATE: 4-13-2018 - YES...Friday the 13th.Just tried two more of these boards. Both programmed fine, after you know how to do it. BUT the #1 Relay failed ON BOTH of these. Sending back. Unfortunately, I have two more arriving today. I really need this to work on a reversible servo, but they QA/QC seems non-existant.

Great unit for the price and the function ........ good line of sight distance for hunting

A lot of these TX/RX devices from China seem to have quality problems. The transmitter I got with this one didn't work, but a couple of transmitters I had from another system (a 12 channel one) worked with this one. Too bad the 12 channel receiver didn't work, though.So, you may need to buy a couple or three of these to get a working combination, (they're pretty cheap), but if you can't take that, stay away.If you get a working combination, then it seems to be quite functional.

Very simple operation with big results. Might get another one.

The unit works as advertised, but the antenna on the transmitter is very flimsy. I broke it in half, but the unit still works over 600 feet with direct sight
