Q: Are these essential or fragrance oils. The description says both. I can only use fragrance bc I have cats.?

They are not essential oils. They are home fragrance oils.

Q: Is there a noticeable (& good) diff. b/t the burning scents? I can read the descrip. but i need more help.

There is not a distinct burning smell. It’s more of a woodsy smell. If your a fan of any of the smells like patchouli, Amber, sandalwood, oud or anything like that you will like them. There is a hint of campfireness to them but not the stinky overpowering stink. Overall none of the scents are very strong. I personally use a lot just to get a really good noticeable smell going in the house. Hope this helps.

Q: Can these be used to make wax melts?

I suppose they can. I have not made those yet, but these oils really do smell good and the hot throw is good. I have only worked with soy wax, but paraffin is supposed to carry more fragrance, so I think these oils would work well.
