e.l.f.Hydrating Core Lip Shine, Conditioning & Nourishing Lip Balm, Sheer Color Tinted Chapstick, Joyful, 0.09 Oz

Love this, my go-to for every day currently. I have a couple colors that are my faves - Lovely and Happy. I tried a few others and the composition/way they go on doesn't look as good, but these 2 are perfect. Goes on glossy with good color payoff then even when gloss wears down it leaves a nice tint.

I was looking at e.l.f. products because I know they are an ethical company that is cruelty free, which is very important to me and I know this would be good quality make up too.I am somewhat fair skinned, and ordered the one that looks kind of purple… I think it's called ecstatic?… And was so pleased by the color! It blends in perfectly and doesn't look purple at all. It feels great. The only thing I don't love is the watermelon flavor, but I've gotten used to it --highly recommend.

I love the color and it stays on long but… It definitely does not hydrate. To be honest… I feel like it does the opposite. I still use it and enjoy it.

The size is just right, and it's smooth on the lips. I got the color Lovely, and it tastes like melon. It has good hydration and a nice pigment color.

Pigment on this is not lacking. It’s very similar to black honey, but with more color. I can only get a smooth application by using the side when applying, otherwise it looks messy. It also doesn’t seem very hydrating on the lips.

I bought this because reviews said it looks like black honey from Clinique. I agree. It doesn’t stay on very long but for the price it isn’t a big deal to reapply. Love how smoothly it goes on and it doesn’t have any bad taste. I will buy it again.

This feels so nice and creamy on my lips. I love putting it on. There is some gloss but not much color, just a hint. It's not as colorful as a lipstick would be. It's for when you want something more subtle.

I was influenced by the internet and purchased this lip shine in the color “ecstatic” as a dupe for a more expensive lipstick. Overall, it goes on smoothly and is hydrating. I will say my initial reaction was not happy about how purple/brown it looked on my lips… but, I applied it inside with indoor lighting (first pictures). I LOVE the way the color looks when I’m outside in the natural sunlight (second pictures)!Giving it a 4 out of 5 because it’s a shame how different it looks indoors vs. in natural sunlight. I have discovered that I like it more for indoors if I apply it very lightly, like one swipe across the lips. The arm pictures show the difference between a single swipe, vs. 3 stripes to compare.
