Fits into a suitcase and very lightweight.ONE NOTE: the manufacturer's instructions state that it is NOT to be used with an infusion pump, it is for gravity feed only. However, I used it with a gravity feed pump and had no problems.I believe the issue is overturning with the added weight of the pump. As long as it is balanced and the IV tubing is not pulling on the pole we had no problem. We just took a 10 day vacation and used it every night with no problem.

I have had to begin fluid treatment for my cat. This IV pole is easy to set up​ and remove. The best part is that it is very sturdy as not to wobble or shift during fluid therapy which could cause a misreading of fluid levels on cheaper quality models.

Sturdy lightweight but folds about 18 inches long so longer than can fit in luggages but light enough to hand carry. Strong enough for my 3-liter dialysis bag. Better than hanging my bags on the hotel lampshade.

I have a small office and needed something that will be effective for a small space. Worked great! Easy to store when not in use.

We've used this portable pole for feeding during our many trips to the hospital in Houston.
