Tools are exactly what I needed!
Packaging was well padded and easy to open. Tools function as expected.Craftsmanship isn’t the best of the best but for the price and functionality I would definitely buy again if I needed to.The long screwdrivers fit perfectly into the screw holes of my vintage Super Nintendo. This is exactly what I needed!

Bought this in 2016 Still in use
I do retro gaming and these tools have come in handy so many times over the years. Even sometimes needing a small screwdriver for children's toys it gets the job done. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great tool kit for accessing consoles and games
So I pulled out my original NES I had since 1986, I wanted some of the old school game play. The only problem was with some of my games I got either the flashing RED light or the green screen. I checked YouTube and there are a ton of videos on how to clean up both your games and the console. Only, you require some special tools to get into the games cartridges. I searched around and found this nice little package deal as I also have all Nintendo consoles except the GameCube, so this would some in handy.First and foremost the screw drivers for the NES games. The handle is large and shaped well, so it doesn't hurt in your hand. I have already learned that when you remove the screws, press firmly to ensure you don't strip the keyed head. I didn't press down and I rounded it a bit but the key is still good. I was able to remove screws easy after a little added pressure. the other hand tools are also designed curved to ensure it fits in your hand nicely. The bag of extra screws is icing on the cake.the pouch they come in is nicely pieced together with quality. It does have a large "O" ring I guess to hang it up which does take storage space away. It is still large enough to add additional tools you want, which I have. I have only used this tool kit on NES games so I can't comment on any other use for it as of yet. Once I get there, I'll update this review for the remainder of the kit.

Decent product for Nintendo lines, but poor craftsmanship still ruins it
The tool for NES and SNES works decently. I've opened about 20 of each so far and have had few issues (although I will say, I know that hand tool machining is difficult at this pricepoint, but it's just a wee bit too small for a solid fit). So, minor complaint on that tool. It gets the job done, but the spec is a bit off. You have to work a little harder and worry about working too hard, as the latter will strip factory screws.Major complaint on the 4.5mm security screwdriver, which appears to suffer from a magnetic component sticking out of the tip. This not only prevents a good fit onto, say, Genesis game cartridge screws, but the magnetized tool makes it really difficult to remove the inevitable metal shavings that result from using the tool which doesn't grip Genesis games very well. I understand the product isn't advertised for Genesis, but it very well could be--the 4.5mm is indeed an adequate tool for them. Once again though, you won't be unscrewing anything with ease, no matter what it is, because the tool doesn't sit well on the security screws and the result is a lot of effort and metal shavings/stripping, and clean-up is difficult because the metal shavings are magnetically stuck to the screwdriver. If you only need to take apart handheld Nintendo and NES/SNES game carts, I believe this is a 4 star product. If you're looking to actually use the 4.5mm for anything, buy one separately and replace the one in this kit.

Don't waste time on homemade tools, do it right and buy this kit!
AWESOME little tool kit! Used it to open up an n64 for cleaning/reconditioning/paint. Really is a must have for opening up these plastic dinosaurs, deep cleaning connectors makes for a much better connection! As for the folks reading about the gamebit drivers and debating on using a heated up bic pen or ground down flat head screwdriver- just buy this and save the headaches. To be honest I used both methods to get my case open because I was impatient, i wasted 3 screwdrivers grinding them down, but got the bic pen method to somewhat work- but remember they only work for undoing the screws, they will NOT retighten them. These drivers arrived on time and work awesome! I'm meticulous about keeping my hardware in order, but in the event I lose any, this toolkit has a bag of assorted screws which is very handy! Great buy for any classic gamer!!

Decent set of tools.
I disassembled my old Gameboy Pocket and a few game cartridges to do some restoration work. I also opened up some NES cartridges to clean the pins off.I didn't really put these tools through any paces but they fit the fasteners fairly well with only a very small amount of play and so you don't really run the risk of stripping the tool or the fastener unless you completely over torque the tool. One thing that made me choose this over a set of security bits for about the same price was that these are dedicated drivers so you can be more maneuverable and access fasteners in deeper recesses. Also, another reviewer mentioned that the tops of the drivers spun; with the two smaller drivers that is by design so that you can single handedly move fasteners.

Screwdrivers are cheap, but star-shaped wrenches are impressively sturdy!
The two small screwdrivers (tri-wing and phillips #00) seem to be cheaply made, as the little nubs on the end of the handle move and shake as you use them. However, I used the tri-wing and one of the star wrenches to open up some game cartridges so I could see which batteries I needed to replace on their circuit boards (I bought this basically because my friend has 5 Pokemon games with dead batteries) and both of them worked great! The wrench was very sturdy and not at all a loose fit. I am impressed and would recommend this set to anybody! The extra screws are a bonus!
